The way I understand it is you are supposed to put it in your Author's signature box. But try not to make it blatantly that you're trying to get traffic.

I think your site was about gaming so have it something like "To find out all the latest news and cheats come to my blog!" or something like that, just a rough idea.

    Hope this helps!

You can add it in your signature and your bio box.

Yes - sig box only. Don't even try to put it in your article box! Also, (and I believe this tip is from Dave Bocock), remember to put the visible address of the URL as well as an URL with anchor text. You're supposed to be able to put up to two URLs in the bio box. Thus:

I have a Ezine acticle that is linked to a hubpages article that has an affiliate link. They didn't give me any problems with it.

Yes, but only in the bio box. Also, put the url address as well as a text link. You are allowed two links in the bio box. However, if you have less than 500 words in the article, you are only allowed three words in the text link, five if there are over 500 words in the article.

The reason to put the visible url in is if another directory or whatever picks up your article, they are supposed to keep the links active, but sometimes they don't. At least your visible url will be there for a visitor to type into their search bar.

    Hope this helps.

You can backlink on an Ezine article you submit. For instance, you could include "Check this out for more." upon which the person clicks on that would take them to your site. On THAT SITE, you could include affiliate links, and EVEN links to other sites or/and article pages of yours.
