Does Ezine have a way to tell if two authors are the same person?

I'm at my ten article mark for my ezine account, so I tried switching to my other one.

But when I enter my information for my other account, it logs in into my first account. Did they find me out or something?

You probably still have the cookie in your browser.

You are only supposed to have one account at EZA and I expect they do have ways to keep people from signing up over and over. You can use multiple pen names on one account so no reason to have more.

Better to wait till your first articles are accepted and then you'll be able to submit more.

Getting caught trying to violate the terms of us could get both accounts banned there - it's not worth it.

Ezine are pretty strict. I was writing an article for a guy and they wouldn't let me use his real name because his surname was a noun.

They certianly use cookies & IP addresses

They could also be using Local Shared Objects (LSO) also known as flash cookies.

Certainly that is what I would do if I was running an article directory and I was worried about multiple user accounts.

You would be amazed at how many 1000s of spam accounts get wiped wholesale from one site I consult with based on things like this.

There are also other signals that could potentially be used such as matching IP address on domain hosting.

My first account is being reviewed for Basic Plus, so I need another to continue my regimen of posting three articles everyday.

How long does it take to be reviewed after creating ten articles?

Having more than one account is against their terms of service, I believe. You might want to read the TOS. Since Chris Knight is a WF member, perhaps he can ring in here and answer your question .

Good for you for writing 3 articles per day. If your writing is up to EZA's standards, you'll soon reach platinum status, and will be able to submit as many articles as you like.

Yeah, just clear your cookies. I know a guy (not me) who has mulitple accounts on the same IP and they havent found him out. It's a cookie issue, as are many things in life.

It may be wise to keep within their terms of service by having one account. I would hate for you to lose your EzA account after submitting about 100+ articles.

Adjust your regimen or keep writing for submissions to be made in the future.

The first articles take the longest to get reviewed. Once you have some articles reviewed it may still take a week but it won't matter because you will be able to submit daily and article from a few days ago will be appearing daily.

If your account goes platinum you can expect 24-48 hr approval.
