What do you recommend for Newbies?

Hey guys, my names Jackson and I'm wanting to take my IM to the next level, well really the first level I guess. Currently I've got a blog and its doing ok.

However, this I guess is my goal.

Make in between $10-100 a day (passively) after setting up a site (does not have to be a blog).

Using I guess really only free tools (until I see some money coming in)

THis said I am willing to buy a guide. However, there are so many out there and I don't know which ones to really look into.

I've been looking around for quite a while on WF even though I have only officially registered today.

So far Ive seen a lot of good reviews for MS and SeNuke and stuff like that but what I'm looking for is something that is

  • easy to follow
  • cheap (free would be a plus)
  • No B.S
  • makes money through AdSense or Clickbank
  • Shows good traffic generation using free methods
  • How to find a good niche
So what would you guys recommend?

Currently I found in the free ebook part of this forum - Get-first-page-google-practically-overnight by peterantonio (sorry cant post link too few posts) which is good but I would prefer something with a bit more detail.

Thanks

I would recommend you Harvey Segal's ebook. I am new here, so i won't risk nothing by recommending you that ebook since it is a free ebook, and he doesn't even ask you for an email address.

What people say about this book is that it probably is the greatest viral marketing idea of all time...

Its a short ebook (37 pages), he talks about :
    - Getting traffic to your site
    - Preselling with free ebooks
    - Preselling with articles
    - Autoresponders and follow up campaigns
    - Ad tracking
    - Affiliate marketing
    - ClickBank
    - Viral marketing
    - PDF book creation
    - Ebook rebranding
    - Creating niche sites
    - Resale rights

The point is that he is not explaining everything in details, he is just throwing one unique idea after another on a wide variety of subjects. He targets the important things we have to know about. Nothing more.

If you don't want to read about all that because ur good at it, then you really have to get to the end of this ebook since it's there that you will find that crazy marketing idea. He explains it very well.

Just click the link in my signature! Don't worry, no catch (free,no email, no OTO just.... the ebook) Trust me, you'll smile at your computer

But down a few bucks for the Warrior Forum - Private Forum. Well worth the few $ for a membership. A lot of great information over there.
And of course I've got to plug the MOBS method in my signature. I have actually started building sites before launch and it's the real deal, no BS method you might be interested in.
Other than that Google Sniper is another great system to use. Has been very effective for me and a whole slew of other IM'ers. Good luck!

    Hey Jackson!

A few things, you might want to take a look at :: Jiggling the Web for Instant Search Engine Rankings. It's a free site(no opt in even) about SEO optomization using your blog and other free methods. I'm in the process of trying it out but I know a few people that have seen awesome results with it.

Also, KompoZer - Easy web authoring is a free easy web editor you can use to create web copy for your sites to create squeeze pages. If you have an autoresponder, you can create an opt in form through it that's connected to feed your captures into a specific campaign.

Have you found any good courses JacksonRiddle that matched what you were looking for in your original post ? i think some of the longer courses are good for detail, but it be good to find a short one that says kinda just do this and do that, step by step, with just enough detail to tell you what you need to do

dcyberpunk is right. Ed Dale's 30 Day Challenge is great (also free).

I'd say getting a decent coach would be the best investment you could make. It'll definitely cut down your learning time.

I also like Mark Ling and Matt Carter They are great for beginners. I can't post links yet, but google "affiliorama" or "mattsmarketingblog" and you'll find them. Matt Carter has a free 12 part video series which is more valuable to me than some of the paid things I've used.

Would anyone recommend a WSO for newbs to start out with?

Can't post links, but this one looked completely realistic to me: Matthew Olson's "How I Went From a Struggling Newbie To $100+ Days In 2 Weeks! Step-By-Step Guide Covering 3 Methods"
