        Unfortunately, I have nothing suitable to offer, but I would just like to say that I'm glad that you are on the mend after such a shocking health scare.

        Like many others here, I'm a big fan of Wordflood and I have the greatest respect for you for creating such a product in a notoriously hard-to-please niche.

        So, my hat is off to you for the way you have approached the Warriors here, and the way you have always operated inside the WF.

        Good luck with your Firesale, I hope it goes some way to covering your medical expenses.

    I am a totally newbie who have nothing to offer than to say I am happy you were sick and recovering back again. Sickness is a sort of challenge to all us. we need them to make us human and to appreciate the essence of our existence. It is just a check in your progress. Keep moving on in life.

      Hey Vince,

      lol, yeah. My doc said people who smoke have a 10x greater chance of this happening than people who don't. I've also heard that one of the most common times for this to happen is right after people quit smoking (because your body is detoxing and flushing out all the junk). So if you do quit, quit sloooooooowly!

      I don't have any product that I created to contribute. Maybe I could offer some advice on the health insurance issue.

      I have Costco health insurance through Pacificare. If you are a Costco executive member, which cost $100 per year, you can apply for their small business health insurance. The only requirement is that you have to have at least two employees, counting yourself. My wife and I signed up for their health insurance using both of us as employees.

      It is a PPO plan and we pay about $400 premium per month total for both of us.

        Amanda & Bob - Thanks!

        Chris - I actually just went out and purchased "catastrophe" health insurance from Blue Cross. At $61 a month, it was a no brainer. Basically I pay for any minor stuff out of pocket (anything under $5,000), but I'm 100% covered if anything major like I what I just went through happens again in the future (hopefully not!!!)

        I could have gotten a much lower deductible ($1,100) for like $160/month, but the last time I was in a hospital was when I was born, so I think this might be the best type of plan for me.
