PING! Your advice on pinging please :)

Hello,

I have a self hosted wordpress blog which I know automatically pings.

What I am wondering about is pinging for when I leave comments on blogs, post an article to directories, put a new post on a feeder site (Blogger, Hubpages, Wordpress.com).

Is there any danger in pinging all the sites I comment on in the same day? For example, say I post responses to 20 blogs today with backlinks, is it ok to ping all those sites today (once my comments are approved) or should I wait and do a few each day? I ask because I am not sure if Google can somehow track my IP when pinging or will become suspicious that all of a sudden 20 sites were pinged and now have links to my site?

Should I be pinging my articles on directories and my posts on Hubpages, Blogger and Worpdress.com? Again, is there any danger in terms of Google flags to pinging these on the same day?

I have been using pingler.com Is this good enough or should I be using multiple pinging services?

Any advice on this pinging would be greatly appreciated.

    The Ping is pinging to all at the same time.
    However, just for make sure all is pinging, better do it twice.

    Ping everything. Ping exists to tell web services that something has been updated. So, you should be pinging as soon as the content has changed.
