Single Opt-In List -- Multiple eBooks - How to Integrate?
I have an opt-in list for my blog and currently I give away a "How to Organize your Digital Photography Collection" eBook for people who sign up for the list. I have single blog post that acts as a "sort of" squeeze page for this specific eBook to get people to sign up and I also have the signup link after all of my articles and on a few forum signature links and it's working ok for now. I use Mailchimp and once they signup, the link to the eBook is in the 'thank you" autoresponder.
My big-picture goal is to keep building my list.
I'm an English major and I'm quite fluent in technology and I have two other (what I believe to be) well-written guides that I'd like to do the same thing with to try to build the list and I'm not sure about the best approach.
Because I promote the digital photography eBook on the sidebar of my blog and in the footer after each post on the blog , I feel like it will be to overwhelming if I try to promote all three at the same time.
The idea is that with these three eBooks (on three different technology topics), I will be able to appeal to a broader base of users to get their interest and get them to opt-in; and because all books and the blog are technology-based, all three segments will still find the overall blog topics helpful and of interest even though their eBook choice was more focused.
So, I ask, is there a good way to promote 3 different eBooks in order to get people to signup for this single list?
And to somehow limit it so that people can only get the specific eBook they want? (E.g. can I make it so that they can only pick ONE of the eBooks?). I use MailChimp and right now the "Thank You" page has the single photography eBook link and I'd rather not put all three links in this single "Thank You" email.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
