Is there any way to get rss feed for warriorforum. I guess it will be easy to keep in touch, whats going on in wf without browsing all the sections.

Thanks

There's no RSS for WF, unfortunately. I think vBulletin has it built-in though. I've seen it in several places. It'd be quite cool if we could subscribe to a particular persons' posts or something like that.

I think owner of forum can enable rss. Thats how it goes with vbulletin. There are so many sections and so many cool things going on, its very hard to keep in touch with everything. Like in wso section there is cool ron douglas wso is going on. In jv section some warriors want to promote your product to 50k list. Thats astounding.

Same way, lot of cool things are happening in other sections. I am very busy in my work and its hard to keep in touch with wf. So, rss feed will be very cool.

    Any other solution?

    thanks

    i would use it!

My guess is that there is a good reason that it does not already exist. the forum owner is a very successful marketer, who undoubtedly knows the benefits of RSS. I am sure it has been thought through previously.

As some people already mentioned here, I am sure the RSS feeds have been disabled on WF on purpose. I am a big fan of RSS, it lets me stay up to date on different topics that interest me without having to waste time.
Here's how I deal with issues like this - For the sites that don't offer feeds I create feeds myself. There are a few tools available out there that help you create feeds for pretty much any Web site. Dapper is my tool of choice. It is powerful and it is free. With the power it provides I don't understand why it's not that popular - Dapper: The Data Mapper

You can watch the video there to see how it works. You can also search a list of public Dapps and you will find a few already created for Warrior Forum and shared by other users. I created my own via an intuitive point-and-click interface. The only thing is with some sites (including WF) you will only be able to see thread subjects, not the actual text of the posts. It has been sufficient for me though, usually I can decide whether I want to read a post or not by looking at its subject.

Another useful RSS tool that not too many know about is Yahoo! Pipes - Pipes: Rewire the web . I use it extensively to filter out the noise from RSS feeds. Information Overload is a big problem nowadays and this tool helps fight it. It is very powerful and has a ton of different uses but the way I use it is combining RSS feeds from multiple sites and filtering out topics that don't interest me. For example, I am looking for a job so I grabbed feeds from my searches from Monster.com , CareerBuilder.com and Dice.com I can then combine them under one feed and filter out posts containing phrases "entry level" or "internship", etc.
    Good luck!
