Where to distribute a free eBook?

Hi guys,

I have a client who has written a self help eBook to giveaway to help build a list. He has asked me to find places to list it to gain some exposure.

Does anyone know where I can list it for free?
Is there anywhere on the forum where I can list it like a WSO but without the fee as it's a free giveaway?. I already have it on my sig.

Please note: I have not tried to plug this ebook on the Main Internet Marketing discussion board, I have therefore turned off my sig for this thread. But if I still have broken some type of rule please let me know and I'll remove my post.

Hey Ryan,

There are plenty of places on the internet where you can give your eBook for free.
First of all ask your client whether he have a blog or a website of his own or not. If he have any then give a pop-up there for your free eBook and ask them to sign-up to the e-mail in return.

You can also join other self-help forums and add your website's address in the Sig file to increase your chances of being noticed by your target audience.

He does have a website with a sales letter which describes his book very well. He just wants to get it out there and hopefully build a list.

There are several different ways to do this, build a squeeze page with optin box start writing articles and use resource box to link back to the squeeze page, also do the samething with forums, blogs and blog commenting, etc.

Blimey cyberws, thats one long list. It will take a while to work through all that lot.

Another option is to write guest posts for other peoples blogs on the same subject and to give it a way as a free gift. You can do that through sites like Guest blogging: Looking for guest bloggers or guest post? Join MyBlogGuest!
