Can anyone tell me the guideline for writing article for a blog/static page?

Do i keep on repeating about how brilliant the product is and end the page with 'Buy it now when it's cheap' or do I use an article related to it's genre to promote the product by talking to people in a friend like way -introducing people, services'?

Like how do I promote affiliate product? Is there a bit different technique used for either clickbank product or Amazon Associate affiliate product?

Whew people go to school and/or practice for years to be good writers! First I'd say have a voice and a character, it's not always about selling, while it is about selling in the long run, having a good voice and sounding like a person and not a machine will get you going in the right direction. I'd also recommend going into the warrior special offer forum and checking out the WSO's that seem to be doing well, check their sales copy, read, learn, try yourself. Also the copywriting forum is a great place to check as well!

Firstly, it's best if you actually use or have tried the product yourself.
1)Have a attention -grabbing headline. eg:

2)Address the problem - No traffic equals no sales
    3)Speak about the product
4)Offer solution to problem-what product does
5)Use short paragraphs easier to read
    6)Bullet points are great
7)Don't be to pushy-give honest review, explain why this product works, what makes it a must have, then let the prospect decide
8)Promote products with good sales page and 100% money back guarantee-makes buyer/prospect feel more comfortable

Wow i'm rambling on a bit, it's late and my concentration disappeared with my last coffee.
I'm sure you will get some more great tips from fellow warriors, i'm off to bed.

Ideally, if you are doing affiliate marketing, then you want to use your article to pre-sell the affiliate item... When done well, it can generate considerable revenues for you...

The problem is that a lot of product developers are clueless as to how to sell their products, especially in the Clickbank marketplace...

Leave hype out of the equation, and instead focus on showing people the real benefits of purchasing such items...

If you do a great job of pre-selling the product, it does not matter how bad the sales copy is on the sellers site, because when you link to it, your readers will not need to read the seller's sales copy... Your readers will generally skip over all of the sale copy and go right for the Buy button...

    Writing the article:
Very important is to give an article a very interesting or catchy headline about your niche or product.
I think in writing the article, it must be informative and a little of conversational.
You talk about the good of your product.. features.. usage.. ease of use.. what the others could benefit from it... etc.. then a little selling or promotional.
The article must not look spammy.. give a very good introduction so the readers will keep on reading the article up to the very end.

Right on... If you don't put a good title on your article, you article will never be opened or read... Therefore, any article with a bad title on it will fail to achieve the desired results...

Your fan here . You are soooo right. Rich value-adding and engaging content (meaning that you give your targeted audience only what it wants...period!) and then you add a 'pulling' title that pleads "here's what you want, this is what it looks like, open me now"

I think I might have confused some people here but what I meant from 'Article writing' is writing up the content for the static/sale page not the web 2.0, articles directories, etc. For example if I'm promoting a particular product from amazon, lets say Sony Bravia X12 40 inch. On the sale page, do I simply talk about the product and relate to it and end the page with a big red bright 'BUY' button or do I talk about different television sets on how they look, sale figure, demand with anchor links on the keywords to the affiliate page which in this case is the 'Amazon Associate' page.

Do I make the page only on the product -keep on repeating how amazing, worthy product it is- or do i simply go on talking about the whole class of television, like their color, quality and then put my anchor link somewhere in the page? Note - I'm not actually in anyway forces them to click on the keywords but hoping they will click on it and buy it.

One way of mentioning the keyword which I think will work is shown below

    • .... After researching the different classes, the best product I've seen thus far is [the affiliate product with it being anchored to the affiliate link page]
