Ok need critique on my plan.

Ok so I'm gonna try to make some money off my music so right now I'm in the planing stages, help me out.

- research: finding a target market/niche inside my genre
- posturing: doing some professional photoshoots to make my image seem more official, having clean layouts on all my websites etc. Looking the part.
- setting up a central location like a blog or website to promote/sell my product.
- shooting videos to promote singles & getting them exposure via forums, blogs and social media.
- offering a free EP/mixtape for promotional use
- repeating the process but with a digitally distributed project on iTunes.

Good?

    Do it. Test it. If it works for you, do it again. If it sort of works for you then tweak it and test it again. A plan on paper is step one...now follow it. You'll only know if it works if you actually do it. YOU let US know if it was good or not. You won't know until you do it....(hey wait - I think i just said that )

    That is pretty good but if you are doing rap or something like that. You can also use paid listing on youtube, and worldstarhiphop. There are also websites that gets lots of views, that will show your video to many people for a price. Check out websites on your music genre and see if you can advertise your video. That is where its at.
