Hey guys,

Just want the info? Skip to the bold below

My last big post here (about ppc) was a downer, and i'm glad to come back a new up and happy kid.

There is a fellow warrior here (won't mention names) who has helped me out even more then any coach I've paid for, he added me on skype, and for free has see me through just about everything.

I learned one thing from him, that it was his kind (and great help) that led to him making money, he truly wants to help others, every site he makes is great content.

Anyway, after I got banned from PPC I bought a product, have been following the instructions, and my articles go live in 72 hours, so I will be seeing some good results then

This isn't about that though, this is about action

Today I got on clickbank, I found a sale for $80

This sale is from articles that I set up, 2 years ago.

Back then I was in high school, I wrote about 4 articles a week, if I could.

I stopped for awhile, I kept reading new stuff, but never committing, I was sitting and doing nothing, instead of writing more! Since those 2 years i've made over $3,000 profit. Not bad for some kid writing while he was supposed to be making presentations for art class huh?

So want to know how to make money online?

1. Find something you BELIEVE in to promote (affiliate or your own, preferably your own)
2. Drive Traffic (don't get caught up here, just make 10 ezine articles and 10 youtube videos a day!)
3. Use your profits to drive more traffic (in the middle of doing this now!)
4. Write a post about it in the warrior forum.

Now I know, there is list building, SEO, PPC, all of these things out there!

Just remember, eating that elephant must be done one bite at a time! So find something, start at it, and stick to it.

I personally can't wait to see what this traffic is gonna do with my new campaign, hopefully i'll have a new post about it on here

All the best,

- Nils Evensen

You've inspired me today! Today I learned what affiliate marketing is, what ClickBank is, what Article Marketing is - all that in an hour or so and started promoting ClickBank self help products on my personal development site.

Amazing! I don't even care about results yet, I'm just happy I learned something new and it finally makes a lot of sense. I'm closing the gap on this marketing demon, many thanks to you Nils.

Also, I like how 2 years ago you never thought anything of your articles - they will always be relevant (unless they talk about cool games on the Sega Genesis - well, maybe even then).

    Cheers

Wow, I promise I don't mean it rudely, but let's hope not too many readers of your personal development site see this thread and realise with what meticulous and painstaking degree of care and attention you're reviewing and selecting the products to promote to them, and attach the credibility of your professional reputation to.

I'm happy for you about that, too ... and let's just hope your customers feel the same way when they buy whatever you decided, after this exhaustive process, to recommend.

        Hi Nils,

        Congratulations mate.
Just shows that with a bit of work and action taking you can make this happen.
Article Marketing is a great way to earn a living online.
        Stick with it.
Now you have found something that works for you scale it up.
Work out your Article ROI then you know how much each customer is worth to you.
I take it you are collecting emails for your efforts?
Don't worry about adwords banning you, there are plenty of other advertising networks out there.

You know you seem to be a well liked person here, but I dont understand why almost every post of yours I read is somewhat negative??

I can see that you are trying to help and/or show how someone is doing something wrong, but it still is quite depressing. A little positivity goes along way.

For example just suggesting to him that maybe he would get better results, build a better relationship with his current readers, and all around feel a lot better if he researched and read the products he intends on promoting, in my opinion, would of been much easier for someone to take in.

He even said this was her first day. Not the kind of criticism I would of wanted to read when I fist got started that's for sure.

Not to step on Alexa's feet here, but, in her defence (not that she needs defending...lol), we've rehashed the value of relationships, reviewing products before you promote, etc, a million times on this forum. MANY people don't seem to 'get it' or just don't care. With that context, you can see why she responded the way she did. I'd encourage you to read the THOUSANDS of helpful posts she's contributed to this forum.

As I said I can see she is being helpful, but I just thought that the always present sprinkling of negativity and sarcasm may not be needed in some cases, especially to someone new like that.

As I said, not the type of comment I would liked to have read when I started out. Plus this is a big forum, a very helpful forum, and as you pointed out, it has been covered many times; promoting products that you personally reviewed, but that doesnt mean he has come across such posts.

Believe you me, I have learned plenty from Alexa, especially in the copywriters forum where I spend most my time, so I am not doubting her, just the tone.

Sounds like you attracted exactly what you needed, your mentor who gave you FREE lifecoaching and now you are modelling on him/her and doing the same for others. Brilliant!!!! Believing is key and then of course remaining steadfast, committed and consistent. (all easy when you TRULY believe, i.e. not just doing something to make money.) There MUST to be a point or purpose.

It really isn't that complicated. Like you said you just have to de a few things to internet market.

-Find a product you believe in
    -Write article about it
-Post and promote the articles to whatever form of traffic you choose

Everything else is driving and scaling...

Writing 10 articles AND making 10 videos is achievable, but I don't think a lot of people would be so committed to keep it up in the long run - I make 5 videos per day, my partner writes 5 articles and it's proven to be not as easy as it looked.

Wow, woke up this morning and was expecting to see maybe one reply.

Glad to see that i've inspired other people with my little bit of high school work, heck, when I got on yesterday and saw that I made $80 that day it inspired me!

I am using the money to further build my business, I now have my own product, website, and list. I also outsource a few articles.

10 articles and videos a day hard?

For me to write a good 300 word article it takes about 10 minutes (in a niche I already know a lot about)

Making 10 videos takes me about an hour, I think it takes less time because I can just talk, and not have to worry about grammar or anything.

Now that's what, 3 hours work?

(just about, heck even a little less!)

I played 3 hours of soccer, football, and mario kart with my brother yesterday, if I can do that, then I can write articles.

Make a time schedule for yourself, you'll find you have a lot more time then you thought.

See if I told you you could make 1,000 a week (just making that number up off the top of my head, please don't hold me to it) by working 3 hours a day, what would you say?

But if I say 1,000 a week off of 10 articles and videos you groan and run away.

    All about perspective

I guess it's true that why change something that works or is good right? Great to know a method that work and shared time and time again still works till date
So often we overlook some thing thinking that too many already know it so it's saturated but sometimes as shown it still works.
    Thanks for sharing

Congrats Nils! I am glad you've found something you enjoy doing that allows you to make money using your passion.
Although I do not go the route of Article Marketing, I still find myself writing quite often for my method of Site Flipping. I am a good writer, but it's not something I particularly enjoy. After flipping the first site and making $200, I outsourced the articles for the next site I would flip. The first work was the hardest, but it is paying off now tenfold! Although many of my sites are day-flips, I have many long term flips. One, I created, did a tad bit of on-and-off off-page SEO (linking and social bookmarking), and let it sit for a few months and sold it for $3000 on Flippa! That's the most I've ever sold one site for, but, as you can imagine, it felt good seeing that much money.
Again, congrats Nils, and to those still waiting for that first buck, persist and work hard. Once you get off the base of the mountain, the climb gets much easier!

Or at least one a day. I tell people the same thing.

Write one article per day and submit. Turn article into video and submit. Extract audio and submit. Grab RSS feeds and submit. Social bookmark, ping url's. All you really need is about 10-12 good articles and the traffic will come.
