Anyone Else Having A Down Day??

Hey All

Having a down day and need some encouragement, I know I will not give up but sometimes this IM can be overwhelming!!

Maybe because I worked straight 12 hour shifts as a CT Tech for almost a week, could this be the reason????

OK well I'll better get my act together because success will not come in the front door by itself.

Quick question about some traffic products are they good??

1. Miracle Traffic Bot

2. Tsunami Traffic

Thought I'll add a joke about getting up for work to cheer myself up:
Tom had this problem of getting up late in the morning and was always late for work. His boss was mad at him and threatened to fire him if he didn't do something about it. So Tom went to his doctor who gave him a pill and told him to take it before he went to bed. Tom slept well and in fact beat the alarm in the morning by almost two hours. He had a leisurely breakfast and drove cheerfully to work."Boss", he said, " The pill actually worked!"
"That's all fine" said the boss, " But where were you yesterday?"

      Thanks for this email. I've been down in the dumps and dragging my feet all day. I usually don't feel this way, but I've been having a couple personal issues this week. 98% of the time I feel motivated and optimistic.

      All this stuff is temporary and will eventually work itself out. In the meantime I decided to watch some movies instead of working on my business today.

      Now I just need a couple of beers and I'll definitely feel better...

      Anyways hope everybody has a good day...

      Here's the thing... I don't know whether this was the case in that situation or not, but I may not have been nice to you either last night.. That's because you need to work on your tactic. You want to make contacts, and you want people to help you make money online...

      So help them first, ask them what you can do for them, not what they can do for you. People will be more willing to give you the keys to the porsche then (if you catch my drift...)..

      And seriously, if someone asks you to stop doing something.. don't do it.

    Wel, whenever you are having a "down" day, make a list of all the blessings in your life - a gratitude list of everything for which you are greatful. Read it whenever you need a quick emotional lift.

    In fact, by looking at your avitar I see one of the blessings in your life - he looks to be about 4 or 5 years old.

      Don, great advice that I need as IM is a lot of work sometimes without rewards. Many years ago I wrote an article entitled, "Hitting Your Head Against The Wall" where I described the frustration, discouragement and feeling you want to quit every week, month...but by keeping motivated and persist you will eventually succeed.         Very nice thread - lover reading it. I am having a headache today out of trying to compile a whole report on a single day for my business (and it is Sunday too) - just in case that cheers anyone up - and while the two jokes above will not eliminate my headache but they definitely made me feel good.

        Right now, the Commonwealth Games inaugural is being shown on the TV from New Delhi (that's where I am located right now), so time for me to take a break and watch the TV - managed to buy a 46 inch Sony Bravia (110 cm I suppose) this year - not bad given what you get in India

    You dont need either! You can rank very easily without all these shiny new tools released every day! Google links content! and links! that's all! A good program if any to buy would be Senuke, but I dont know your budget. or you can outsource all your content and link building! Good luck!

    Fortunately bad days are exactly that - just days. If I find things get a bit overwhelming (and that can happen so easily online, lol) then I just allow myself that day to feel a bit yuck - treat myself to something nice, or chocolate and then go to bed knowing the next day will be better - because it always is.

    Want to wake up with a smile on your face. Set the alarm for five minutes earlier than normal and then spend that extra five minutes in bed reminding yourself how great it is to be all warm and toasty, comfortable and safe. That way you are smiling when you get up and your day will automatically go better for you.

    Thanks for all the comments. It is as you said just a bad day!!

    Yes Don my son just turned 4 about 2 weeks ago and he is definitely what keeps me here,to change our way of life to have more time with him!!!

    Thought I'll add another joke just to cheer a few people up!! Somedays we take life to seriously!!

    A site foreman had ten very lazy men working for him, so one day he decided to trick them into doing some work for a change.

    I refuse to have bad days. I may have a few bad moments here and there but never a whole day. The little bumps in the road of life are what make it interesting and there is always something to learn from it. Take the lesson and carry on.

    Sometimes I run across nasty people and instead of letting them penetrate my skin and getting my inners all out of whack I just thank God I am not like them and leave feeling badly for them that they choose to be like that.

    I also think about all the people in the world that are lying in hospital beds dying or the homeless, starving, abused, challenged people and think, anyone of them would love to be in my shoes today. And I am overwhelmed with things to be thankful about and am inspired to enjoy and appreciate what is right in front of me at that moment.

    A bump merely has a going up side, a top, and then a downside just like a hill. Once you are on the downside the bump is gone. Be thankful you got to the downside, many people don't.

    Have a fabulous day and don't let anyone take it away.

    I have them from time to time, but I try my hardest to get into a mindset like Kim described above -- being thankful for what I have.

    In the words of Bon Jovi, "I ain't gonna live forever... I just wanna live while I'm alive." No point in wasting that time frowning!
