Please discuss experiences with large-scale link building

Hello Warriors,
Please discuss experiences with large-scale link building. Is it best to go "natural" slowly at first 10 links a day, ramping to 30 links a day, etc..
Or,
Is it Ok to launch a huge 100 to 200 links or more per day right away?
Please discuss and share domain age or other variables that influence the success in your tests.

    I send thousands of links everyday to my sites in a short period of time, and my site is 2 months old.

    It doesn't matter how many links you send to your website, but does matter if these links are:

    1. mixed with different type of links - bookmark, directory, articles...
    2. you gain more links than loss over the period of time - spam links will occur very fast and disappear very fast, when you loss more than gain, you might risk getting into filter with new site.

    Just spread your targeted number of links to a week or 2, or even longer, and make sure they won't be removed quickly, then you are safe.

    I got my barter website ranked the day my URL was indexed by Google. How?
