How to test the uniqueness % of a spun article...

Article spinners, what software or website do you use to test the uniqueness of the spun article?

Say, for instance, you have a spin-ready article (in spin syntax) and want to test how unique it is.

I have used a few different tools, like Content Professor (Why is this giving such a high uniqueness %?) and others. I have found that they are different.

Anyone know which tool will give the most accurate estimation for this?

    Copyscape.com premium service is very cheap. You can copy and paste the text to run the Copyscape comparison.

      I use the best spinner and it shows you what the current uniqueness is in the top corner as you spin it.

      Do a search on "article checker"

      I have used Plagiarism Checker for years. When rewriting
      articles I have already uploaded to the 'net, I use this site before
      submitting to EzineArticles to make sure it is accepted. It's never failed
      me yet!

      I have never paid for a copyscape account, I only use the free version to
      check pages on my websites and client websites.

          If you'll excuse the observation, not intended impolitely: an even better, more productive and much more profitable idea for those of us on a small budget is simply to use high quality original content, not re-write anything, not "spin" anything, and not have to worry about Copyscape, "degrees of uniqueness" and all the rest of that stuff. :rolleyes:

            You hit the nail on the head, Alexa. I've fiddled around with some spinners (never for clients, just with some of my own stuff to see what the hype is all about). Quite frankly, it took me longer to insert brackets, synonyms, and god-only-knows-what else, than it takes me to manually rewrite the article! There are times when I'll write different articles on the same subject, but I always throw in a little extra research and rewrite everything manually...that way, I know it's done properly, and is of a high-enough caliber to have my name attached to it!

              No offense, Nicole, but if you're doing all of that then you're doing it wrong! LOL!

              And by wrong, I mean that you should consider using The Best Spinner or similar software that allows you to spin the article but takes of that kind of tedious, mind-numbing work for you.

              Give it a try.

              And if you're curious about it all, you should check out the recent newsletters from Dr. Andy at Internet Marketing Tips & Newsletter. He has several videos right there that show how to use it and get a lot, if not the most, out of it all.

              People really seem to be extremely uninformed as to what can be done with an intelligent spinning software at your disposal.

                Sorry, but my company only focuses on creating 100% hand-written rewrites. We don't believe in using spinners or anything else that cuts corners. I would never put my name on a spun article, so I would never ask my clients to do it, either. We're going to have to agree to disagree on this one!

    I have to throw my 2 cents in for dupe free pro. This gives a pretty good level of control over what YOU consider duplicate (3, 4, 5+ words in a row), gives you a summary, plus content highlighting of what it sees as duplicate content. (not affiliated: dupefreepro.com ) is truly free, requires an optin but as of yet LoL I haven't really gotten any offers from the company and it's been like a year???). I think the flexibility and ability to see exactly WHAT is considered duplicate, and then correct, gives a really good level of control on content.
    This software is only for comparing 2 different versions of something (specifically, a "spun" to an original that you copy/paste into it's 2 boxes), so therefore it's not going to crawl the web to check for dupes. It's just for personal comparison.
    And, as others said, writing wholly unique content is definitely the good way to go, otherwise

      can it detect altered words? like words that are rewritten or replaced with synonym?
