Anyone else having a problem w/PayPal confrmation emails?

I am in the paid directory business. Within minutes of received an email confirmation from PayPal, I review and list the site.

For the last month or so, I am not receiving confirmation from PayPal when funds hit my account for a small percentage of sales. It happened three times today and it seems like this is becoming a problem. My customers are use to fast action when they submit & pay for a listing.

Email confirmations from PayPal are not going to my spam or delete folder.

Has this happened to you?

    This happens to me frequently. I don't get many emails, sometimes I get them up to 3 days later. I don't know why.

      As long as it is not likely my end, I will contact customer support at PayPal to let them know. I doubt that this will be resolved with my complaint but it can not hurt.

      Other than this issue, I am very happy with PayPal. It has helped me grow a nice IM business.

    I've noticed that is has been buggy recently as well...

    For instance, the last two days, it has been sending out all different versions of the payment receipt...

    I'm wondering if it has to do with their "New and Improved" layout for payments...

    I think some people aren't clicking the "return to xxx.com" link that isn't so obvious anymore...

    And I have also noticed that the checkout page changes quite a bit now...I think they are still testing different layouts.

      I still don't get why the return to merchant button isn't obvious. Clickbank is small compared to Paypal but they're at least smart enough to know how important it is.

    I agree that that could be an issue for some. My problem is simply that I do not always get an email confirmation form paypal when funds hit my account.

    I get at least a hundred spam non-paid submissions to my directories each day. It is only when I get the notice that I have received payment that I fill an order.

    Now I have to keep my paypal accont open and reconcile several times/day.

    I was having this problem and thought it was Paypl. Turned out that my hosting company had upgraded my sites to PHP5 and this had caused the problems. Switched back to PHP4 and it worked perfectly again.

    Certainly worth checking.
