Anyone know how to get a response from godaddy?

I had a support ticket, and it got sent to the Advanced Technical Support Team. They said they'd resolved the issue, but had not actually fixed it.
I tried responding by email saying that they had not resolved it, but they have not replied. This was on Monday. On Tuesday I phoned up the support number, but the support person said he could not help as he was not on the advanced support team. But he said it would be fixed within 72 hours of the email. That was last night.

How can I get a response from the Advanced Support Team? They have taken longer than the 72 hours, and I am concerned that my ticket has fallen off the radar.

    If its actually the technical support already then I dont think you can do anything more than wait or else ask for a full refund! Sometimes such domain registrars are really slow as they manage lots of sites. However that is not an excuse for not responding to customer queries.

      Oh dear. Does anyone have any good sites for calming meditative techniques? I was going to try the old trick of looking up the CEO and contacting him directly, but it's not listed. What a friend does in these situations is just call the owner of the company. Even though we are small fry, CEO's don't like being hassled by the small fish, and just tell the staff to fix the problem to save them being annoyed.

    I have many GoDaddy domain names. I have never had a customer service issue. Here is how I typically execute any issue: (1) Send a support ticket in and (2) Call them.

    They have always been extremely helpful.

      Thanks Lloyd. Unfortunately my ticket was escalated to their Advanced team. So the dude on the phone refused to help. Or was he just being unhelpful?

    That's crazy. Godaddy is supposed to have great support. I think you should call them again. This time when you call let it be known that if your situation does not get resolved soon you will take your business else where. They should respond to that.

      You didn't state whether it is a domain issue or a hosting issue. If it's a domain issue, Bill had the right idea: transfer it to Namecheap. If it's a hosting issue, transfer hosting to HostGator. Their tech support is terrific.

    I always call them and have never had a problem with them in the 10 years I've used them. For me, the support (by calling) has always been wonderful.

    I have about 20+ personal sites with GoDaddy and have used them for 8 years with no issue. So, cheapskatemate, before everyone in the forum runs to hostgator, would you mind sharing the fix that dv8domainsDotCom with us?
