Website Templates at Hostgator

That's one of those things I didn't know, and I'm guessing I'm not alone.

I bet with 4,000, there's sure to be something for virtually anyone.

That is good to hear!

Hostgator is in my action plan.

Going to bring WP into an Hostgator account.

I bought Leanne Kings WSO "WP flex" for a little guidance.

Must admit, I am a little worried about integrating the two (gator & WP).

She has that covered pretty well which is why I went with it.

Still trying to drum up a domain name though.

Sheesh.....who would of thought that coming up with a domain name would be so hard?

Time to break the glass and grab Roget's 21st Century Thesaurus!

When you go to Hostgator's cPanel, go down to the software services box. Click on Fantastico De Luxe. In the left panel there is a heading for blogs, click on Wordpress. This will get you to a screen where you can set up a Wordpress blog for any domain, addon domain, or sub-domain you host with them. I have several.

Make sure you enter an email address to send the login information to after you've finished the initial setup.

When it's all set up, FTP it from your site to your computer.

I don't think (although I don't remember, it's been awhile since I looked) that HG's templates are for WP. I believe they are for static sites.

Lots of free wp templates called themes in WP around though. Just google "Word Press themes".

You're right! Sorry if I gave the impression that the templates are for blogs. I was just trying to help Zenmn. He seems to think he has to somehow bring Wordpress into Hostgator. I know it was a little off topic.

You guys are great thanks for your patience and understanding.

And sorry if it seemed off topic.

I understood completely the templates are for building a website/s.

This is good, because I have a long way to go before I can use html and other.

Combining the site seemlessly with a wordpress blog (according to my research) is difficult, was all I was saying.

I will probably just go with a WP theme and that will be the site; but the HG templates will be good for other projects.

In summation: Very Happy to hear about all the templates.
