I have been a long time lurker of this forum. The last few months is when I have actually been an active member. I first visited this forum about 5 years ago and it has been a love/hate relationship ever since.

Internet marketing has basically been a hobby of mine for 5 years. I've had ups and downs, but I have been lucky enough to have made far more then I have invested into internet marketing. But I never have had a consistent income until now.

The purpose of this thread is to inspire others. I know this topic is nothing new to this forum, but I feel I must share my story.

All my life I have worked my ass off. Why did I work so hard? Because I like money, and I like being better at what I do then everyone else. Almost every job I've every done I've absolutely hated, except for one. I've worked construction, server at restaurants, telemarketing, sales, mechanic, website design and off-road fabrication/welding.

The one job I "kinda" enjoyed was off-road fabrication. I was fortunate enough to build $100,000-$500,000 vehicles that I could play with and race. There is nothing like flying through the desert at 120 mph. I also got to race in the Baja 1000. But I also worked 80 hours a week at $10 an hour with absolutely no room for advancement unless I started my own shop which was not going to happen with the amount of money I made.

September 2008.... I learned I was going to be a father. I had never been more happy. As anyone from the west coast of America would understand, "I was totally stoked!"

October 2008.... The stock market crashed. The shop I worked for instantly went out of business, and I was jobless. I've never really been in "fear" before, but when you have a child on the way and a family to support and no source of income... YOU WILL UNDERSTAND FEAR! Unfortunately I had to move my family in with my parents which is something I never wanted to do, but I had no choice.

After 5 MONTHS of looking for a job I finally got one at AutoZone for $8.25 an hour. Worst job ever! There is nothing like trying to help people who are not happy to be there in the first place and for whatever reason do not appreciate the fact THAT YOU ARE THERE TO HELP THEM!

Anyways, I did what I had to do untill I was installing a battery for someone. But just my luck I sliced my hand on some silly non-factory battery mount this guy made. Cut a tendon in my hand that snapped back into my arm. Two Surgeries later and almost 4 months out of work is when I realized that I need to do something and I need to do it now!

That's when I came back to this forum and absorbed every single piece of successful information I could and put it into action. I could not except failure..... I HAD TO SUCCEED! If I tried a system where the creator said it only takes 5 hours a week..... I worked 40+ hours a week. That is the point of all this........

This video explains what I'm talking about.......
NEVERMIND I CANT POST A LINK UNTIL I HAVE 15 POSTS, I'll post it when I reach that limit from my responses to this thread. ARG

But the main point of the video is this......"If you want to succeed as much as you want to breath, then you will be successful"

I found 3 different proven successful methods of making money on this forum. I put every ounce of effort I could summon into this, and it worked. Why? Because I put forth the effort to MAKE IT WORK!

So... I've displayed a impressive wall of text.... What should you have learned from all of this? If you want to succeed in making money for yourself, there are plenty of ways of doing it from info on this forum. The real challenge is getting yourself to actually DO IT! When they say work 5 hours a week, work 40 hours a week until you succeed! Push yourself.... failure is not an option!

I liked the part where you said "I HAD TO SUCCEED".

That's the kind of thirst that takes you from where you are to where you want to be.

Way to go man... and thanks for sharing your story with us.

    All the best!

This forum and the people who share their success stories as well as the innovators who share their methods are the true inspiration. I just followed in their foot steps...... but this lead me to a whole new world and inspired me to take control of my destiny.

Anyone can do this..... it's as simple as making the choice to do so and taking action.

Inspiration quotation, your giving us strength to continue and pursue our IM business. All I need to do is to become positive even on my ups and down, maybe it will be sooner.

I think, I have read enough on this forum... I might start my own IM business by summer.

    Wish me luck!
