Need a help to find/search a niche, please!

INTERNET MARKETING

Hi warriors,
I spent around 2 weeks read the forum, but still didn't figure out how to find/research a niche? So i basically can't make the first step, i'm a bit frustrated. :confused: Can you recommend me some useful WSO/Ebook? Any suggestions are appreciated.

Let me tell you what I do.

I open up Google Keyword External Tool and check the categories on the left one by one. Make sure you have checked the "exact" value so you will get exact volume for a query

To your amazement, I have found a hell lot of keywords with 5k visitors (exact) per month. For some that isn't a big deal however if you sell a product, means you have 5000 potential clients

Usually the competition is below 500k pages so you can easily grab TOP 10 position (note that I'm a search engine optimizer myself and it might be difficult for you to rank)

I opened a site back on October for a really specific niche and I'm averaging 4-5 sales per week which is absolutely amazing

Rinse and repeat!

The best way to find a niche is to find an active market first. Like golfing is an active market because golfers always buy, so golfing is a good niche.
But use adwords keywords tool to find out about how competitive a niche/market is!
