rss feeds and bookmarking

When you subsribe to an rss feed from sites you get updates about thier content, and is that recipricol? when you have new content on your blog and ping it do they pick it up?

If I ping my conent, do I also bookmark it on those sites? Other sites?


Is there a list of sites I should subscribe too like digg del etc

Is there a way to manually subcribe to them?

      Hey cpalounger

      Nope, when you subscribe to a feed it's not
      reciprocal. So no they won't ping your blog.

      Most bookmarking sites and pinging sites
      are not connected so it's a no again.

      Yes there are lists of sites, but you need to
      say which area or niche you want to receive
      content in before you subscribe to any feed.

      To subscribe to a feed manually look next to
      the address bar on your browser and a small
      icon should appear, if there is a feed.

      Click the icon link to subscribe.
