A couple questions about setting up byethost and wordpress

I'm watching this tutorial: and at about 1 min he says about click on your domain in filzilla/byethost but I don't have a domain there.

Does this mean that I 1st have to buy my intended host for my niche/product I've chosen and somehow set it up on byethost before doing this?

If so how do I set the domain up with byethost.

Also if this is the case it means I have some more researching to do before dealing with this stuff as I have to get a niche/product and keyword optimized domain. Is this correct?

You need a domain-name hosted at Byethost before installing Wordpress on it.

(Don't register the domain-name through them - if indeed they sell them at all: it's never a good idea to register and host in the same place! I recommend Namecheap, myself, as a registrar, but it probably doesn't matter very much where you register it. Namecheap's customer service is good, and helpful, though.)

This gentleman, Gordon Brown (no, not the former British Prime Minister, another one) is a specialist in Byethost hosting and Wordpress installation, and has a big website there with quite a bit of free information on it (you may have to look around quite a bit to find the exact part you want, though - I've seen it before but couldn't find the right pages when I looked just now). Good luck!

Yes Never good to register a domain name through your host.
If you want to move you might find it hard to do the domain name server swap.

First buy a domain and host it in byethost. You can simply install wordpress once you are with it using fantastico, and yes it only takes a minute of installation.

I have a question hope for a good reply.

I used byethost w/c is free hosting. I come to realize that I would like to share it to my facebook account and post the url link.

I wonder why no picture or description is being generated on the facebook status even thou I already add some of the plugin like all in one seo and others.

Unlike blogger it will generate some pictures and description.

Does anyone is expert about this? Please Help!

or maybe just because Im using free...

does anyone who is smarter to figure this out?

      Thanks God Bless!
