Get an account at blogger.com

Go to Amazon and sign up for the affiliate program.

Set up blog posts that talk about the benefits of owning certain physical products. Don't be afraid to misspell product names.

Then link from those products to the Amazon link for the specific product.

Write a few articles to post in EzineArticles.com pointing back to your blogs.

Rinse and repeat.

The more you sell each month, the higher commission that Amazon will pay you. So get your counts up on a wide mix of inexpensive and expensive products at Amazon.

If I was starting over tomorrow, this is definitely the route I would go.

This is great information. I just would be a bit cautious about blogger.com. They have been deleting blogs over there for no apparent reason. But, you can use other free services webs.com. Just not sure if webs.com allows adsense or not. But, you can use hubpages for adsense income.

I have not used blogger in years.

One of my competitors found my blogs and complained. All were deleted.

I thought that webs.com was a paid service after the first month. I could be wrong.

The original poster actually has existing domains that he can install WordPress on and use, but I wanted this post generic enough that even people without a domain could use it.

Someone I know was in similar circumstances, and didn't have the money to get back home. He started buying old electric motors from the junkyard, taking them apart for the copper, and reselling the copper to the junkyard.

Seems like a strange way to start, but it worked for him. He currently has a PhD, owns a couple businesses, and is a very generous (albeit opinionated) man.

Okay I hate an actual job worse than anyone- but that's exactly what you need. Even if you sat down and wrote your ass off making articles about amazon products, you won't have a substantial income for months most likely. Suck it up and do what you have to do to pay your bills.

I just feel like if you're in a frenzy and desperate to make money online you'll do just the opposite... do a crappy job and not make any money.

Yep exactly my thoughts. The first thing on your mind should be to get a job no matter what.

I was in a similar situation to you not long ago. No savings, no job, just some Internet pipedream.

I took up a nightime cleaning job 1 year ago, Im still there and saved about $15,000 and also started to see success with IM once I got my job and had a clearer mind.

The hours suck and most days I cant sleep well in the day time and average 3-4hours sleep a day.

Life isnt easy mate, but it will get a lot easier with some consistent income.

Touching upon what was said throughout the posts, you need to focus more on getting some immediate cash. You can so through a job or by offering any valuable skills on sites that allow you to post for free like craigslist or kijiji.

As the cash starts coming in, start setting a little aside for your IM endeavors. I know it stinks because you want to get it going now but use your burning desire to succeed at IM as a way to help propel you through the job or freelancing that needs to be done. Keep your mind focused on the vision of doing IM part time and then full time. Hold onto that vision and don't let go!

We all need to work for a living. You seem to not know what you really want. If its just money,sorry to break your bubble but you'll need to be more positive about your ambitions and your future.

Find something you would love to do, and forget the Money aspect for a while. Also, if you posted here means to me that you do have some sort of will to change your situation.

You can make a little money online with no money to invest but it will take time to replenish yourself. Let me tell you that I did it. Started off with no money at all and became acceptably successful online. It wasn't overnight. I worked online with a few free opps for 3 years, but I did make enough to reinvest it back and earn even more income.

Don't despair, you can do it! It is not how low you go that matters, it's how high you can rebound back up that counts!

In your circumstances, I am very much agree with the fiverr and promoting amazon affiliate via blogger. Fiverr will bring you fast cash in short time manner where amazon will bring you decent medium to long term income.

Don't worry about blogger deletes blog, it happens yes, but that's how the business work. Just create as many blog as you can every day, create a goal like building 1 new blog everyday.

I have a blogger blog in the bikini niche that so hot it's almost adult, and it's still there making me some cash since 3 years ago. So I guess it's just a matter of luck, just keep building and most of them will stick there making you money.

I hope my two cents will help you.

1) Get yourself a Paypal Account, if you don't already have one.

2)read this thread from beginning to end (take notes and then re-read it, let the information sink in) the information in it is priceless and if you can effectively use your phone you can make money very quickly using this method. Yes, I speak from experience and you don't need any money to start. If you can network people you know, it's even easier, I did it cold.
You can do this!!!

3) Take a look at RAPbank.com, this is an affiliate program which pays immediately to your Paypal account, no waiting 30-60-90 days for commission payments. Maybe you could work on this in the evenings or on weekends, after working on suggestion 2 during the day. Maybe you could rework the websites you have to include products from RAPbank.com

4)Take a look at this thread, he was a similar situation without much money, may be you can do this. Remember, you can use Craigslist to sell things and services for free, it's sometimes better than Ebay.

5)The suggestion about fiverr.com, earlier in this thread is an excellent idea. Five dollars doesn't seem like much, but when you get it multiple times it can really add up. Let Walmart be your example, $1 here, $5 there next thing you know they have billions. Fiverr is great for getting seed money.

6) I don't know what the area you live in is like, but there are often one day gigs listed on Craigslist.org. Look in the section called 'Gigs' in the SERVICES section.

2 Reasons why I'd risk my life advising ANYONE to do this:

1) eBay is worlds most popular marketplace of hungry, desperate-to-buy buyers. On eBay, you've got thousands of potential buyers at any ONE second... for YOUR item.

2) Long time eBay seller... selling anything and everything you'd imagine. And it ALWAYS gets sold.

So now...

GO to eBay. And sell something.

And when you've found a way to sell $2000 worth of stuff on eBay... PM and I'll give you the simplest $5000+ per month technique on eBay that even a grandmother can do. HINT: It involves selling a special kind of product you can find in any _____ store. I'll also tell you the answer to ____. :-)

I will echo what people said here:

1. Get a job, even if it flipping hamburgers at McDonalds.

2. While you are doing that, work out a 2 paragraph business plan.

The first paragraph, outline what it is you are doing/selling.

Is it infoproducts? As an affiliate?

Physical Products?

CPA?

Advertising/Adsense?

Site Flipping?

If you don't know what options there are, do some searching and figure it out. Once you do that, pick a method that seems to suit you.

2. Next paragraph, decide on how you are going to send traffic and convert that traffic into cash.

With your plan "in hand", start putting together the missing pieces. Only focus on just a couple of things to start with - article marketing or video marketing, whatever it is - just focus.

Then set up some "work hours" (at least 2 a day), some "work area" (separate from everywhere else), and stick to your plan, everyday.

After a few months of earning money, don't spend it. Instead focus on getting a nice cash base built up. This is your seed money for growth.

Get your Affiliate Links..

Take part in discussions around the web.

When you're hemorrhaging the first thing to do is to stop the bleeding immediately. Honestly, I wouldn't even think about spending money to make money online until you get enough income to stabilize your situation.

One reason I say this is that when people are desperate they tend to do desperate things they think will make them tons of money fast. Online selling doesn't work that way. No one starts out making big money. There's a learning curve and to start spending money on anything related to selling online is a waste until your have done considerable research (the WF is a great place to start) and stabilized your income situation.

Only when you are not acting out of desperation, only when you stop the bleeding would I spend time on IM stuff. Not what you want to hear, but if you were my son or daughter that's exactly the advice I would give. --Good Luck, Mike

You're in absolutely no shape to think about making money via affiliate programs.

You say you have $3 left to your name, and you don't want to get a job. How are you going to survive while waiting for your affiliate payments to come?

Your situation sounds dire - do you have any other money coming to you in the immediate future?

I'd focus on offering services on the internet for now so that you can pick up some fairly quick cash, but I still have no idea how you're going to survive on just $3.

If you truly don't have any other money coming to you, I'm afraid to say that you'll probably have to take on a real job, at least for the time being. Don't delude yourself into thinking that internet marketing can generate quick cash that will be able to pay for your immediate needs.

You need money to survive now, and I wouldn't be picky about what I'd do in terms of employment if I was in your situation.

You are in a difficult situation, but I truly believe that Internet Marketing can help change your life. However, you need to realize that Internet Marketing is not a get rich quick scheme. Often time’s people go months before seeing any real profits.

That being said, the first thing you are going to need is a plan. Without a plan you will just be turning in circles. There are lot of “guru” and “experts” claiming that there plans are the best. Don’t get caught up in all of that. Find one plan that you’ve thoroughly researched and have confidence in and commit yourself to it. You have to be willing to stick to it until you either start making money or it’s clear that it is going nowhere.

Probably the best way to get started as an Internet Marketer is blogging because you can literally start with zero down payments. I’d advise you to use a free platform such as Blooger, Wordpress, or Yola. Spend time putting up good content on the site. Make sure your articles are clear and concise, free of spelling and grammar error. Monetize your site by placing ads from an Ad Network. Adsense is by the far the most popular, so maybe that is where you should begin. The last step is to spread your link as far and wide as possible. That will help you rise in the search engines and create a “buzz” about your blog.

The important thing to remember about Internet Marketing is that most people who do not make good money are the ones who either quit or did not have a good plan. The Internet is constantly changing, so always make sure that you are educating yourself about what is going on in Internet Marketing.

Sounds like your between a rock, a hard place, then another couple of rocks...

Been there, done that, lost it all...

Your marketing efforts need to pay you big time, so target a killer keyword, write and submit an article to EZA, ArticleBase, etc. and link it back to a static page on your domain optimized for that same keyword...

For example, let's say you are targeting existing mlm reps at Trivita...

You could write an article about how to market your Trivita business online and link back to an opt-in page that offers a training course on building your downline or list building... anything to get the opt-in...

Then follow up with a high converting offer that would help them be more successful with their Trivita business... (Like George Browns Traffic Ultimatum)

Should be lots of products at Clickbank that will work.

BTW:

keyword: "trivita scam"
competition: 546 pages
daily searches: 62
expected daily clicks: 27 (for #1 spot in Google)

If you don't have an autoresponder, then just drop a link on your website to the Clickbank offer...

Wow you are in a difficult place, my best advice is at least to get a part-time job while you start making nice income online, having some cash is always important also will help you buy new domains and some tools.

Dont get angry with yourself , you are just starting, just keep taking action and the results will payoff just stay focus .

Like most people said, start selling a lot things you don't need on ebay, craigslist, etc. I consider myself a huge collector of dvds, video games, toys, etc, but when you need the pay the bills, your investment in material objects finally "pays off", so to speak. I got rid of over half my collection last summer.

Sorry to say this, but in your current situation, you'll have to buckle up your pride and get an actual job like I had to. Who knows, you may end up working with some cool people and enjoying it. Mostly because you won't be broke.

Once you've gotten back on your feet, then get back into the IM game since you'll have a nice cushion to fall on since it takes time to get real income.

I haven't made a dime in the 8 months I've been doing IM, but after I pay off my expenses, I can't wait to jump back in.
