IM/Warrior Forums newcomer.

Let me start this off by introducing myself properly. My Dad and I have been looking into IM projects for quite some time, and have been in and out trying to find methods that work for us. He stumbled upon these forums, so we signed up, and I figured I would make one of these traditional "introductory threads" to get the ball rolling, and make my presence known here on the forums.

I present my fellow forum lurkers with this question. The question is: How can you tell when the algorithms change, and is there software to do the above?

I look forward to a friendly, and informative community. I'm looking to turn a new leaf here, hello to all, and thank you for your time.

    Welcome and Hello Back.

    I honestly do not know of a program that will tell you when these changes take effect. One way that I can usually tell is if there is a shift in my sites, either good or bad, that I have not done anything with. So a site that has no new backlinks and or pages added to it, going up or (usually) down in the serps.

      Firstly, welcome.

      Secondly, any major updates to SE algorithms will usually comes with an announcements. i don't know if a software exists to detect this. But for me, I would suspect something is changed on the background if all my sites consistently experienced a major move in their rankings.

      Btw, it is great that you are here with your dad. Having a partner to bounce ideas with is a great edge to have when starting out in this business. Good Luck to you both!

      Welcome to the WF. A little off topic here but I tell every new user, if you can afford the $37, join the WAR ROOM. You will learn more than you thought was possible. There also are tons of software and IM e-books/reports in the WAR ROOM.
