    Not that difficult :p

I am going to bookmark that page and try that once or twice a day. It would definitely be a good way to get your mind off of things for a bit.

I lasted just over 2.5 seconds.

About average for 99% of pageviews to most sites, lol

I will try again soon. Problem is when I sit quite looking at nice pictures, I start remembering things I must do or I start getting a bloody inspiration.

About 3 seconds in my finger creeped towards the pad. The instinct is strong! But yes, very clever landing page.

That's the point. You get to focus on my question on the bottom of the page. The link goes to a fan page with a free report. The business I do is Local where I live.

BTW...of the 155 views so far...57 have gone to the page.

I watched it until it changed, then watched it some more to see if there was a 'credit watchers' bonus. Then I spent a few minutes looking at the strategy behind it.

Then I clicked back to here to see if there was something else useful.

I also watched it until it changed, waited a bit, but then clicked on the link. Then I clicked a couple more times before coming back here.

        Interesting strategy.

I failed becaue I immediately scrolled over to the "back" button once I realized it was just an ad for some BS product I had no interest in.

Or maybe that means I succeeded.

I did it, but found it more boring than inspirational and can't imagine why anyone would want to do it again. You only get so many sixty second bundles in this life and I can think of better things to do with mine

Years ago I used to belong to a forum (nothing to do with IM) that had an IRC chatroom attached. If you logged into the chat room early enough in the day when no one else was around, you'd find yourself looking at little more than a black square. For some reason I'd get loads of ideas when I was doing this, and so it was that I'd often end up deliberately looking for the chatroom to be empty before I logged in. Chat there? The very idea...

This thread reminded me of that, and of how I sadly missed the boat by failing to sell Black Squares to people seeking inspiration. I could be having people upgrade to Really Big Black Squares by now and making a small fortune

I got down to 13 seconds but didn't really see the point.

There was one on Facebook that asked you to sit for 2 minutes but it had really nice ocean music playing so I did that one no problem, was kinda relaxing. Just the image doesn't do nearly the same thing (and I think it's the same image too).

I hope everyone realizes that I thought this was so cool that I had to share it with everyone. I had people who usually check this page every day just to see if I still own it. I've had a lot of offers over the years for the domain from banks in Canada to cable news stations. The National Bank of Canada (CDBN.ca) is one that continuously checks the page daily and usually stays for about 10 seconds...(I have a great web stat program) but today they were on the page for 5 minutes...OMG!

Hey did you know the POPE blessed Social Media ....LOL

I was able to pull it off on my first try, but the subtle challenge posed on that page, together with the prominent links, definitely made me have the urge to move the mouse within the first few seconds. Once I resisted that initial urge, then it pretty much went away.
