Problem with Amazon iframe code in wordpress

I have an own install of wordpress on my domain. However wordpress seems to be deleting the amazon iframe code everytime i update it. I put the code in the html and press update, sometimes it stayes there but when i edit the article or add a new code everything is gone.

Is there a solution for this? Other then be dependable on a wordpress plugin?

Is it ok to link to Amazon from screenshots i take from products from Amazons web site? See attachment.

    Went through a similar experience with this, but for me it
    was deleting when I toggled back/forth from visual editor to html.

    There was a thread within the past month about this. Wordpress has
    an ongoing problem with this that has existed for a long time.

    I think the consensus is to turn off the visual editor or stop
    switching between the two.

    When I stopped doing that, the iframe code stopped disappearing.

    Yes, you can do that if the iframe problem persists, but it should
    not now that you know about how to avoid.

    Thanks for your answers guys.

    I rather won't use a plugin as a lot of them are not updated every year and what happens when you update wordpress and the plugin is not supported, then you have to manually redo all of the links?

    Do you guys know if it's allowed to use screenshots from Amazon's website and use them on your site like i have attached here? If that's ok within Amazon's policy then i would choose to do that.
