Getting a web 2.0 site indexed

Hello Folks,

how are you? I made a web 2.0 site and pinged it once it was ready. But Google hasn't indexed it.

Can you please suggest some ways by which I can have it indexed and appear in SE?

    Try using social bookmark sites, or mass submission sites like SocialMarks to create backlinks. Try adding your URL to google as well. Add your links to relevant high PR directories too!

    link to it from a wordpress.com blog

    if it has an rss feed, subscribe to it on igoogle, bloglines, and my yahoo. (places that allow you to create custom home pages)

    enter the domain as a search term on msn, and when it comes up blank, suggest the site.

    Use social bookmarks right away when you are done. Digg, Read It and Propeller come to mind.

    Also, you can use the free blogs to link back to your site like wordpress.com, blogger.com, Hubpages, Squidoo.
