Getting Back in the Game...

For a while I used to do Affiliate work. I can rank a site to #1 on Google for great key-terms within 2 weeks to a month in most cases, sometimes faster if its a gem of a find. I quit for a while since I was working on other projects like digital clothing design for a platform called Second Life.

My webhost decided to be picky and decided to demand removal of a couple of my affiliate sites which were clean themselves but pointed to some mature dating content. :confused: So I took them down to preserve other sites I made but since then those other products ran out of steam or were taken down.

So my point after that background is that I am going to switch to a host that is adult site friendly to avoid the picky "you cant link to this or that" scenario and start getting some more affiliate mini sites up once again. So my questions for all of you are the following (feel free to IM sensitive info):

Good reliable hosting companies that don't nitpick at responsible non-spammy affiliates? (I was considering HostGator, thoughts?)

Affiliate products that are either doing well and/or are coming soon and look promising? (I need to dig out my launch promotion site list. :p)

Useful promotion/traffic tools that actually work?

Currently I am an EXCELLENT writer and tend to do all unique content for sites, I do use article marketing, occasionally I will do PPC but I prefer viral or at least semi-permanent promotion methods to paying for temporary space. Twitter and Facebook are nice but... take a lot of time and I rarely saw any real use for it as of this moment... I refuse to spam people with Ads anywhere, I prefer interested parties finding me when possible. So the trick is getting the chocolate to the chocoholics without smacking them in the face with it. :p

I am also open to other ideas for making money online, but I warn you I do not fall for bull.

    I use hostgator. They are good. I would recommend them.

    If I were you I would stick to what you know. You know SEO, go with it and build your empire back up. This game is really the same it was.

    Well if you're a good writer, there is always work at fiverr. I use my gigs there to pay for my hosting, outsourcing, and every other IM related thing. It's a good way to earn a little investment money.

    For hosting I'd recommend webgator, they've been great to me.

    As for tools... I'd suggest you look into Traffic Travis. I really like it, and the free version is really helpful for finding niches that can be easily ranked on.

      I actually have used Traffic Travis for over a year now.. I have the full premium edition its helpful for researching. I tried one called Keyword Elite by Brad Callen which was also good but even simple searches kept locking me out of Google.. and too bad otherwise id have bought it. Anyways thanks!
