Hi Guys,

I really suck at copywriting at the moment and could do with knowing if there is a good course anyone is running.

Also I am trying to build a good swipe file. Does anyone have one they would be willing to share?

    Get on the email list of Michael Masterson's "Early To Rise," newsletter, also called ETR. They are part of Agora Publishing. Each issue (it comes out at least once a day) will have links to courses Agora it trying to sell to you.

    The salesletters for these courses are some of the best in the market. They are all written by top copywriters, and proven to convert. You will begin to see some of them over and over again.

    I save them to a folder. I actually save them as "web page complete" rather than as "web archive - single file" because I can then open them in Dreamweaver or KompoZer to see how the layout is done.

    The copy in those letters is first rate, and well worth keeping and studying.

      What a great idea. Benjamin Franklin became a great writer doing this. Ben would read great writing and rewrite it in his own words using the same style.

      Do it enough times and you will have taught yourself a valuable skill and saved course fees and tuition!

    My swipe file is simple I put in all emails that I receive that 'force' me to open them ie subject line works ok often the content is just crappy sales, sales and more sales but if i was intrigued enough to open theres a lesson to be learnt there - you might find this little idea useful
