Hide ebook link in Wordpress?

I have been trying to learn how to hide my new ebook link page in Wordpress. My goal is to have it hidden from viewers as well as web spiders. I tried this page How to Build Your Download Pages Inside WordPress, but IMO it lacks details on how to set up the Wordpress widgets.

Does anyone have a method they use (for Wordpress) to hide their ebook downloading page(s)?
