Anyone Use Namecheaps Hosting Service? Is It Any Good?

I was wondering is Namecheaps domain hosting service was any good.

I'm looking for the 2 top web hosting networks.

I was thinking...

1. Hostgator
2. Umm... Bluehost??

Any suggestions On the top 2 and on Namecheaps hosting would be appreciated.

Thanks

First - always try to keep your domains and hosting seperate.

Both Hostgator and Bluehost are decent hosting companies. Unless you have some special needs/requirements, you should be fine with either company.

I used namecheap hosting once upon a time and it was bad. I had a lot of downtime, and they kept disabling my hosting every time someone posted a comment on my blog. They called it "spam" lol. Definitely stay away from them if you can.

Plenty of people use Namecheap for domains, I don't know about their recently added site hosting. They accept paypal.
My understanding is that godddy is more likely to act on complaints, charging a huge "investigation fee" in the process, while namecheap is less likley to act on complaints.

I use namecheap. For a start and for managing domain names it works pretty well. I also use Hostmonster and Hostgator. Just started with Hostgator this year although I have used Hostmonster for many years. I think that I'll probably begin to depend more on the gator. My sites there have better response time and very smooth installs. Hope this helps.

I've used hostgator since they first started up and have always been highly satisfied with them.

Namecheap is economical yet very reliable I've been hosting with them for 2 yrs. They have some promotional offers at their new hosting service at: Website hosting and web hosting services from the experts. Instant setup, 15 day money back guarantee by provider., I have a hosting account at web-hosting.com as well for two months and haven't had any problem so far.

I will still go with the fully tested and loved hostgator. It is really advisable to keep your hosting and domains separated. Just found a cheap option in vertito but Im not sure with its uptime rate though.

I prefer HostGator. I wish I had some feedback about Namecheap though. Based on the responses, there do not seem to be any major issues.

Namecheap is good period. Used them for many websites...but no blog at least no yet.

Hostgator, bluehost and hostmonster are very good web hosting services.

Are they perfect? Of course not. But they are better than most.

The number one priority I use for hosting or domain names are "can I get my problem fixed right now"?

If it takes more than 24hrs...go somewhere else.
