Recently I saw an add that claim FBML (Facebook Fan page programming language)
is dead after March 11.

Well. is it really dead? What's your thought?

There is already a thread on this. It's not really dead (yet) but FB is phasing out FBML and replacing it with iframe. Existing codes are not affected (yet).

Yeah I Upgraded to the new Fan page, then all of the sudden my FBML Page Videos Didn't work. So Yeah Probably afterwards it will probably die.

Look at my fan page its empty without the video now

Your FBML pages will still work.

The iframe will simply give you more options.

Yup, exisiting fbml pages will still work. Just that from 11 March, iframes will kick in completely and from there no more fbml based pages can be set up.

  Make as many pages as your fingers can type ...with FBML pages loaded of course. You can add up to 10 FBML pages. If you do not use them, you can always delete them later. I simply like my FBML codes...

FBML is not dead (yet), they said they'll keep it for 1 year, and then, it's RIP.
anyway, iframe does give you more option in developing your facebook fanpage.

Yep it's true. If you have your FBML page already setup then it will work until the end of the year.

If you haven't set it up, you will need to use iframe which is based on HTML.

  I can still create FMBL pages.. brand new... so I don't know about you but for now I'm going to hold my own with them. I'm working on iframes of course. Seems alot of what everyone was saying about FBML being dead March 11th was totally false. I can create new ones for new fanpages. I just created a new fanpage on the 13th and also created new FBML tabs as well... 5 of them...

I do not want to invest time in fbml if it is scheduled for termination. However I am equally perplexed that Facebook have not provided an alternative to things like walls, post etc. Proper pain in the neck now. Is Facebook got a future I am not so sure now as it will require a load of time to make the site integrate seamlessly look and feel wise :/
