Adam Roy's The Ultimate Backlinks Report- Help

Hi

I recently bought 'Adam Roy's The Ultimate Backlinks Report' and I would ask him this but don't have enough posts to be allowed to PM him. Hopefully someone here might help.

So I'm completely new to this, I see that the report shows you how to bring up .gov and .edu sites amongst a host of other types. But, it does not mention what you are supposed to do with this infomation.

From what I can see I am meant to go into these forums and post some comment and have my URL in my signature.

Is that it? or am I missing something.

ther is mention that the best ones are 'public' however every one of the sites I've looked at require you to register to be able to be able to make any comments, and if I read the report correctly sites that are not 'public' arn't worth using.

Very confusing. If anyone has this report please some help would be greatly appreciated.

I feel I must be missing something but for me its all new at this stage.

Regards
Allan

From the sounds of it you are trying to get profile backlinks.

You find forums that don't require you to login to see the list of members of that forum. You then create an account on the forum and put a couple of links within your user profile. You don't have to make any posts.

The theory is that at some point the spiders will pick up the links in the profile and you've then got a backlink to your site. If the forum requires login to view the members of the forum then it's likely that the search engine spiders won't ever see that link.

    Hope that helps.

I am not aware of the product so I can't comment on the specifics but in general you get backlinks from forum profiles or by commenting on blog posts.

profitsforall has already explained how the forum profile links can help you. Basically you join the forum and drop your link in your forum profile and/or signature.

Another way to get backlinks is to comment on blog posts and use your website in the website/comment field. Due to heavy spamming a lot of blogs now require you to be a member before you can post your comment but if it is high PR and dofollow, i recommend that you join and post your comment.

      Hope that helps,

My best recommendation is go to Warriors for hire and slowly read those thread and you will find there are people who you can hire to do the job for for the price of what you had paid for...

But if you want to learn all by yourself, my way of doing is contacting the experts in warriors for hire and ask them question about what you are in doubt... but do not tell them you got the report because I guess you just tell them you are interested to know more about their service....
