Thoughts on Craigslist markeitng techniques and software

I have personally been annoyed at the spam I have received in the past after posting something for sale on Craigslist as an average here and there seller of my personal things. I am immersed in researching what to do for my next round of internet marketing and came across all sorts of utilities for what I will characterize as "targeting spamming" which is to say the angle is to use key word matching to send messages a bit more specific instead of blanketing everyone with a B.S. message.

Has anyone has success with techniques similar to this ? Which software do you like ? If it was targeted enough it might work. I have only used the "Buy/Sell" section of craigslist. What other opportunities are there in other sections ?

Thoughts on Ebay classified advertising welcome as well but I don't think any helper software works with Ebay to help with efficiency.

If I were going to market on CL, the only thing I would use is CLAD Genius. I believe it's the only thing that's gonna work for you there with any consistency, short of hiring an outsource team to do the work for you.

CLADgenius is probably the best in terms of features, but don't discount the other cheaper ones. I personally have CLAD and it does what I want it to do, but before you jump into Craigslist, make sure you have a TON of money to blow on testing. You will need an IP solution, PVA(depending what section you want to post), and tons of time and patience for testing. CL isn't a game for the poor anymore.

I've been looking at a less expensive cl posting solution called Adzlla Pro. Very impressed with what I've seen so far. There's no question CLAD is THE sutoposting program for cl and if you can afford it, and figure it out go with that if you plan to scale up. I'm looking at Adzilla because I need something easy to learn that can handle medium volume posting.
