Yesterday was my first $100+ day on a complete autopilot from just one website. And it looks like it will just get better.
Who do I have to thank?
My friend Mike S., CPAtrend, Vancead and RevenueAds, Antony Heyes and everyone on this forum who really encouraged me to build a solid business and deliver what people want and the money will simply come in.
Here is how I did it. I hate that I will totally disappoint you, unfortunately you've read this a million times.
I scratched off 487 projects that I had going on. They all "sounded like a good idea" at one point, but ultimately they were all distractions. I told my friend Mike: "I'm focusing on this one thing until it makes me money, I'll build it to work on autopilot with no additional investments". I found 10 high paying CPA offers in a similar niche, I found two keywords with 5.5K exact local searches per month and I outsourced articles to one company that I found here on WF. The articles looked like crap, but I didnt care. I spun them with Jetsubmitter and Free Traffic System. I got indexed for some long tail keywords, but no conversions.
Then I watched a youtube video where this guy explains how you have to put your heart and soul into what you're doing and he used Apple (Mac) as an example and how they "have a vision" while Tivo offers a great products but fails to create a vision that other people would share.
So I decided to get better articles. I finally came across Anthony Hayes who delivered awesome articles so I used the ones I already had for an email follow up sequence and replaced them with the new ones.
On my website i have a pop up dominator, and instant slide up, also there is a form on the right side and a banner at the top. They all collect leads, but it's nothing you havent read in this forum.
Then the first sale came in about a week ago. It was from VanceAd CPA network. Then another one came 3-4 days ago. I ordered more articles just to spin them and I used UAW and Jetspinner/submitter to submit them.
2 sales came in 2 days ago - about $50. Today I wake up to more sales totaling over $100 (yesterday). Let me mention that my website just got indexed and it still on the 2nd page of Google for the main keyword (the one with 5,5K searches). The traffic is coming from the long tail keywords (300-400 exact local searches per month) where I'm somewhere on the first page.
That's all. Just because it's on autopilot from here, it doesnt mean there's no hard work involved, research, analyzing results, trial and error, s#!t I can go on all day. But my website delivers, my forms capture and my autoresponders are doing a lot of work for me. Even thought it took me almost 2 months to have my "first $100 day on autopilot", it was well worth it. Most of my "487 projects that sounded like a good idea at some point" were "crash and burn" systems. It wasnt something I could rely on and it wasnt bringing in a lot of money considering the work i had to do on a daily basis.
Now this is where you insert the "you can do it, just don't give up" speech.
I'm just not good at it, so I hope someone follows the system that I described, and I apologize for repeating something that has been over-explained and beat into the ground on this forum. The system above works. Once again, Mike S. for giving me some SEO advice, CPA Trend, VanceAD and RevenueAds, and Antony Heyes for awesome articles.
Now I have a lot more work to do. Like Neo said: "I didn't come here to tell you how this is going to end. I came here to tell you how it's going to begin."
