I generally like skype recorder. If you can get both sides to use Skype the sound quality is a lot clearer than recorded phone.

If you're on Windows, get the free SkypeCallRecorder. Works great and it will automatically record all Skype calls if you set it up that way.

I picked up a $7 plastic microphone in an emergency to record a call via Skype and it worked beautifully.

Otherwise you can use a service such as FreeConference.com - Free Telephone Conference Call Service

There are plenty of them out there, you can just do a Google search under "free conference call" or "recorded conference call" and you should be able to find one that suits your needs.

You want to google the term "skype call recorder" and the best software will pop up. It only costs 20 bucks. Easiest and best way to record a call.

I recommend using Call Trunk. Easy and quick, allows you to record any phone call, cloud-based, keeps the call saved and available forever, free for the first 25 minutes. Contact me at ted@calltrunk. com for more information.

I have people oursourced to do my telephone sales for me as well as many other items. Using something like hot recorder really helps for me in more ways than one. I use it to record what I am saying in order to sell someone or make an appointment and then let them listen to how that works. So I have been using that for awhile now and it does the job well when I have a conference call setup using business accounts.

For recording a regular (non skype) call I use TRX recorder to record via the dial-up modem Phone Recording Software - Windows Call Recording, Mac Phone Recording (not an affiliate link). I've never had to record a Skype call, but I imagine you could use software like Audacity to do it.

There are plenty of free phone services like instantconference.com that allows you to record your phone calls, which of course, could also be interviews. We've used this technique often with our celebrity clients.

Vilcabamba, all of these ideas from other members seem to be good, but they require a certain amount of technical knowlege. In addition, Skype is dependant on your internet connection and we've found can drastically change quality over the time you are recording.

We specialize in conference call and telephone recording. We can even provide a high resolution wave file of your call that is great for editing or archiving. Other services, especially the free ones, generally provide low resolution audio files that are just barely acceptable to a majority of people. That is, they are just good enough to tell what is being said, but may be noisey or distorted. If this is all you need, they are a great solution. If you need something for a podcast, posting on your website or something like that, give us a try at AudioFileSolutions.com.

Here is a great alternative to record great interviews.

Now I always use the SpaxPhone which has a built in recorder that you can use for free and saves the recorded file to .wav on your computer.

But the best part is the sound QUALITY - which is great if your are using the 'interviews with experts' model to create infoproducts or for monthly membership sites.

Another good thing is that is about 40% cheaper till 'call out' then using SkypeOut.

i.e. the expert you are interviewing dont need to be Online (glued to a computer).

And you save money because you dont have to buy any Recording software (i.e. call recorder or Pamela)

      Check it out.
