The WSOPro button you see is completely separate to being a war room member, its a program Mike Lantz has that runs alongside the WSO giving you stats and buy now buttons thats just the tip of the iceberg check out for more:

    http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...ou-should.html

Also you do need to be a war room member in order to post check out the rules here:

Congrats on launching your WSO! (Or getting to the point where you will, it's an exciting time)

Here's what needs to happen, and what I'd recommend from personal experience:

    1) Join the War Room

This is mandatory. There should be a red corner banner in the bottom right side of your screen in this forum if you're not a member yet. There's other ways, but I forgot them and can't see them seeing as how I'm logged in and already a member lol.

    2) Decide which payment processing you're going to use

I'd recommend either of 2 ways to do this: DigiResults or WSO Pro (by Mike Lance). Each has their merits, so it's a personal call. DigiResults is free, WSO Pro is $19 for a one-time license.

I'd probably go with WSO Pro your first time since it's so user friendly and if it does well you have the possibility of getting featured as WSO of the Day (a huge honor and like a definitely +500 sales lol).

EDIT: After reading this, lemme clarify this step. By "payment processor', I simply mean how people will buy your product. If you want, you can slap a Paypal buy now button on your thread. Or, you can sign up to DigiResults and list your product in their marketplace, and paste your buy link from there on your WSO thread. What WSO Pro does, however, is it's a program that does everything for your WSO. You fill out some fields like the WSO price, your paypal email, thank you page URL, etc. Then it creates a BUY button FOR you, and you paste that code onto your WSO post. It handles the payment and directs people to your thank you page/download link, and you get the commissions. You also get all the stats you'd ever need, and can even take on affiliates. Very user-friendly as I said, and all automated, which is why it may be better for your first WSO.

    3) Make sure your sales funnel works properly with whichever payment processor you decide on

Double check your funnel and make sure it links to the right Thank You page, that that's integrated with your autoresponder if you're using one (I recommend you DO lol).

Have you ever launched a product with a screwed up download process? I have. Customer service nightmare and a huge hassle when things would have otherwise went smoothly had I double-checked this stuff. Thus this is Step 3.

    4) Go into the Test Forum and format your sales letter

The test forum in here is awesome since it lets you format your sales letter and view it how it will look on the WSO thread, so you can make adjustments beforehand and not worry about the formatting when you launch it.

The cool thing here is that you can "Publish" the new thread in this forum and see how it looks with the left column in place (the one with the avatars and status). If you just "Preview" the thread, the spacing will be off since there's an addition 100ish pixels that aren't accounted for on the left of the "Published" thread.

    5) Copy all the code from the Test Forum and paste it into a New Thread in the WSO section of the forum.

Two things happen here: you make the post, then you wait for it to get approved. After that, you're sent a PM (it could take anywhere from hours up to a day or so, usually not much longer). After you receive that PM, you're instructed to pay the $40 listing fee via paypal.

    6) Pay the $40 Listing Fee

As soon as you pay the $40... it's Go Time

    ----

So that's the process in a nutshell. I don't think I missed too much lol.

I'd launch it when you have time to dedicate to customer support though. It's really important to answer any objections or questions as quickly as possible. And right when you launch it, people tend to ask more questions since there's usually no reviews or anything to help them base their decision on.

As far as launching times, I'd say Tues-Thurs, between 12 and 3 PM Central Time (just convert that according to your time zone). That's when I've found to be the best BUMP times, from having tested this over 30 times and selling 150+ copies of my own WSO.

As far as best practices for WSOs in general, you really can't go wrong with WSO Tycoon by 'Andrew!'. I won't link to it so it's not a blatant promotion, but I bought it before I launched my first WSO and it helped SO much. Pretty much everything I covered in this post I learned from that, and after 3 WSOs, it's all been spot-on.

Lastly, read the rules to be on the safe side: WSO Rules - Please Read !!!!! Updated 3/15/2011

Hope this helps! Good luck too, kick some ass!

The mandatory costs to launching a WSO are:

$37 for the War Room (one time)
$40 for the listing fee (for each listing, so each time you launch a WSO)

...So a minimum of $77 the first time. After that you'll be a War Room member, so the next WSOs you launch will only be the $40 listing fee.

The WSO Pro licensing fee is an additional $19 I believe, which would bring your total launch fee up to $96.

        I'd say that's a well-spent $96 though

Well Tom, I just have to say THANK YOU! (again) for making that so clear, you cleared up a lot of questions I've had and I had no idea you could test your WSO in that forum!

Great info....that should be part of a Sticky, or at least a link.

I also thought that any Warrior could post a WSO if they paid the $40 and the extra $ to bump it.

    Cheers!
