USFREEADS HTML Editor

Hello all,

My first post here so please be nice

I am a premium member with usfreeads and I am having issues with using their html editor. The problem I am having is the HTML editor seems to not be able to handle the <iframe> tag very well. When I insert my html (with the <iframe> tag included) the ad is displayed correctly but when I go to save the ad, their html editor changes the format slightly and removes the <iframe> tags altogether.

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and what solutions you have or can come up with.

I have emailed support, still waiting for a reply.

The ad in question is available here: usfreeads.com/1562421-cls.html

Thanks,

mod.

Are you using the enhanced html tool or the copy and paste html one?

Try the copy and paste section and I think it will work better. If that doesn't work, they might not allow iframes. I looked around but didn't see it mentioned specifically anywhere on usfreeads.

      deverell,

Thanks for taking the time to respond to my thread.

I've tried both options but the problem still exists. Usfreeads must accept the <iframe> tag as I have seen it used on another published ad within their site (see usfreeads.com/383657-cls.html)

      Thanks,

I know what I would do next...

view source on that ad that is working copy their iframe code. Make a test ad and see if it will go up alright...Compare their code with yours and if they are different I would just use their code and change the link ids to yours. Remember to delete your test ad

            deverell,

Unfortunatly this did not work. They must have updated their HTML editor since the ad (with the included <iframe>) worked. I'll wait to hear what tech support comes up with.

            Thanks for your help.

            Regards,
