What are Squeezed Pages

What are Squeezed Pages, I think they are the pages which are full of offers and try to sell somethings, they are also not well organized web pages. At first look they like total scam pages to me but I think they are for some specific purposes but what for what purposed?

Do they really make sales and attract visitors. I have also seen some like that in top SERP.

    Drop the "d" and yes, squeeze pages are still popular in the IM arena. Some people offer a link at the bottom of the page to allow the visitor the opportunity to bypass sharing email info.

    the aim is to make your words sell.
    it's science with wording, font sizes, colors etc.
    lots of testing but if done right it makes the difference between $0 and $$$$$

    They're called "Squeeze Pages" and their purpose is to build a list. They often offer something for free if you sign up for the list.

      I have a different point view about them. For me, it sets the rule for your business. You are telling the visitor that this is the first rule of your business.

      If you are not going to give me your personal information, I will not show you the real good stuff behind the "squeeze page". Also, so that I can contact you in the future.

      So, you squeeze them for the information!

      Well explained lien. This is exactly what squeeze page is for. Nothing for sale or try and get the sale. Something for free to get name email or just email. You then Market to your new list and make the sale on the backend.

        Hi William,

        Squeeze pages are simply some pages that are meant to lure potential internet surfers to sign up and drop their contacts (emails, addresses, phone etc).

        Before now, it was very easy for people to sign up in such pages but with the frequent negative effects of dropping ones email addresses in some unknown portals, many web surfers are finding it hard to simply sign up but you can still get people to sign up in any squeeze page but offering them valuable resource in exchange for their email addresses.

        This can be done very professionally and IMers usually try to target only people that might be interested in what they are promoting online.

    A 'squeezed' page would be one that has been squeezed. A 'squeeze' page on the other hand is one thats sole purpose is to squeeze one or several pieces of information from the visitor. More often than not this is an email address, phone number, mailing address or something similar. Most squeeze pages offer the visitor something of value in return for them giving up that personal information.

      Or a form w/c has a name an email address enables the visitor to subscribe and put there email address.

      And then with your squeezed pages you can send them follow up messages via autoresponders.

      There are free autoresponders to choose from that you can integrate via optin such as:

    I want to make clear on this .

    So the squeeze page is about capturing the details from the visitors via a form from the autoresponder which is specially created by the code from the system such as Aweber , GetResponse, iContact and so on. Is that right ?

    So, the overview is Traffic ==> Squeeze Page ==> Thank You Page or Sales Letter in affiliate marketing term , is that true ?

    Squeeze pages are a great way to sell products. But the squeeze page itself is not selling any type of product. It only allows you to get the contact details of potential costumers using an opt in form. You can also link your money site to your squeeze pages.
