Making a website the same no matter what the resolution?

Hi all,

just a quick could be a sily question but how do you set up your website so that it comes up the same in different computers. On my laptop for example my website comes up perfect then when I try to do it on my work computer it barely fits in the screen.

Any idea's how I could undo this or minimize this??

    I am not entirely sure, but i beleive it has something to do with 'fluid width'
    That's within the code of course...

    Persoanlly i still use a max width of 1000 - no one uses less resolution that 1024x768 these days so that way everyone will eb able to view my page fine.
