Jumping In Is The Key

Have I worked incredibly long hours since I went full force with my marketing business?
Oh yea....I think my cup of coffee and the pile of papers next to my computer are permanent friends of mine. I always dabbled in it...
I've done plenty of ghost writing, article writing, and actually punched a time clock to write newspaper columns, travel catalogs and such...

But there was something distinctly frightening about relying on ONLY my marketing business for my entire income.

In case some of you don't know me...I'm Robin, owner of Partnership Marketing, and I've been "transitioning" from part time teacher and tutor, as well as daycare provider, for about five years now. Always juggling several jobs at once, I just didn't want to give anything up because of the economy. FINALLY.....I went all in. I decided to focus solely on my writing and online website promotion abilities.
Guess what? We are not starving. I have had many calls, completed more projects than I'd like to remember and I AM LOVING IT! Each customer seems more pleased than the last and finally I am doing what I love....to write.
I am happier than ever, and my coffee cup looks pretty warm and toasty right now....
Thanks to all of you warriors who encouraged me to take the final leap, and to all of you who are my customers....
Merry Christmas! (hopefully I'll get around to shopping by tomorrow at noon....gotta keep up with those deadlines....)

    You are right though, get a focus, work hard and the profits follow. All the major money makers in the world have to work hard to get it. Nothing comes easy and the best thing is, if you work hard and get rich, you will have an unbelievable feeling of accomplishment which is priceless in this industry!

    I did the same as you a earlier this year. I was running a business while still working. Thought to myself, LETS DO IT! Quit my job and now I am building not just one business but several businesses! The feeling of accomplishment is super and the sky is the limit!

    I am not saying quit your jobs though! lol

    But get a focus, enjoy it, inject some passion and reap the rewards! This is easier than you think it is!

    Here's to a successful 2009 for all fellow warriors!!!!!!
