Need help with PDF please

Hi guys and gals,

Ok, so I gave myself a good kick up the old butt and finally finished my 1st very own product

I have turned it into a PDF, but I need to know how to secure it.

Can anyone please help?

    When you say you want to secure it, from what?

    People editing it?
    People printing it?
    People passing it around to each other?
    People putting the download link on a file sharing site?
    Stopping Google or any other search engine from indexing it?

    Let us know what you need, and we can advise of what you need to do.

      Thanks for the reply. I worked hard on this and I want to launch it as a WSO. I just want to make it as secure as possible, so that it is just a little harder for someone else to steal it and call it their own.

      I suppose the more secure the better

        I guess you mean to make it harder for other people to copy the text into a Word Doc and turn it into their own PDF.

        One poster said something about the Adobe Acrobat Trial version. You can also try the free PDF995: Create PDF

        Besides the PDF printer, you'll also need Signature995 (on the same download page) with "support for restricted printing, modifying, copying text and images".

      Step-1: Download Adobe Acrobat Trial version
      Step-2: Open your MS Word 2007 Document(Your EBOOK) and Click Ctrl+P
      I use windows, I don't know about Mac.

      Step-3: Select Save AS..**Adobe PDF**.. Give your ebook a name and click options button(right bottom corner). Make sure Apply Security is checked.
      Step-4: Save it to the destination folder.

      Congratulations!! Your PDF is now secure.!! Good luck

    Jenny,

    There are ways to secure PDFs but there are also easy ways to un-secure them as well, don't worry about securing them just get the product marketed!

    Unfortunalty if the prodcuts good there will always be people who will share it or steal it, but don't let that worry consume your marketing energies!
