Anyone Make WSO Pro work with Wishlist Member?

Hey whats up...

So, the title says it all.

I have an upcoming offer... I'd like to be able to use WSO pro for payments but deliver it via a members area built out of wishlist.

Possible? Doable?

Would love to hear how/if someone has done it.

Thanks.

    Hi Chad,
I do and it works. However you need to set it up as simple integration. Just use the registration page url as the delivery url in WSO Pro.

Andrew thanks for the information but could you be more specific?

This makes sense, I assume the customer will then have to register before he/she can download the product. Registration would involve creating a username password etc.

Here is where I get a little lost. With simple intergration you have the following:
      1. The Post URL - This is where you send your infomation to
      2. Secret Word - This is used to generate the hash key for security purposes
      3. Membership Level SKU - This SKU specifies the mebership level that should be tied to each transaction

My questions is where do you enter this information in WSO Pro? In advanced options you have the
      1. IPN Forwarding URL
      2. Key Generation URL

Any help would be greatly appreciated,
      Tony

By simple integration, I believe he is talking about just sending them to the registration link after checkout.

That is how I have been using it so far as well.

Part of the problem with integration through IPN is the inability to send the SKU associated with the level.

I am working on finding a solution for this type of integration as well.

I am trying to use a central portal for product delivery. The problem I run into most is some people already have an account on the system, but don't remember the password.

Once they go through the recovery process, they login, and don't have access to the new product because they didn't login through the registration link.

I talked to a couple other Warriors, and they are using Wishlist, but using it on new sites for each product.

By having on a single site, it gives the opportunity for cross-promotion based on hat memberships they have and don't have.

        Thanks,
        Kevin

It works really well with Wishlist Members, the only thing you need to do is to add your delivery URL (in the "PRODUCTS DETAILS" section) which would be something like:

      http : // www(dot)yourdomain(dot)com/index.php?/register/IJmxe6

The "ADVANCED OPTIONS" fields can be left blank.

      Hope this helps.

        Thanks that makes total sense.

But I'm worried about that registration link being shared.. since there's no security token or anything.

No need to worry because the link buyer won't see the actual link as it will refresh. The new link can then be shared but will not actually work.

Another option is to create a membership called "Awaiting Approval" then just approve all the members manually but it is to much work in my opinion.

Weird cause I am able to use peoples reg page all the time when they use wishlist like this. The reg page can be shared.

One of my buddies just found out his reg page was shared on a black hat site and got about 1000 people that registered without paying.

If you are just doing the product as a wso I cant stress how easy it is to use wp memberchamp for all of your wso's.

Work with wso pro and my favorite JV Zoo.

If you please, could you tell me how to integrate MemberChamp with JVzoo? I appreciate your help.

              Thanks,

Thanks for the help with this! I found a url that's formatted like your example but when I copy and paste it directly into the browser it goes to blank white page that says "Wishlist Member, Click to here to view homepage". Is this normal? I thought it was to be a registration page?

    For what it's worth...

DAP works very well with WSO Pro. In fact, some of the heavy hitters here on WF are using DAP & WSO Pro with great success.

And we also just integrated DAP with JVZoo.

Integration is as simple as pointing the IPN URL for both services to the DAP IPN script on your site. And because the IPN happens behind the scenes, server-to-server, the process is fully secure, and hacker-proof, and people won't be able to share the "registration url", like they can do with some other solutions.

    JV Zoo integration:

    WSO Pro integration:

Weird - my prior post disappeared!!

    Anyway - great info here!!

I'm still a little confused - do I need to use the IPN to make sure PP sends me the info if they bought through an affiliate & they unsub from the continuity since that means they lose access to some of the features of the WSO, which I will have to delete manually.

    Any ideas?

I'm in the process of finishing a plugin to integrate Wishlist Member and WSO Pro. I should have it done in the next couple of days.

It will use the Wishlist API to automatically create new Members and to Assign them to a membership level. It will transmit the login information back to WSO Pro to be displayed in the final WSO download page.

You can get on my notification list here:
    http://www.wpwishlistwso.com/wp-wishlist-wso-sign-up/

I will be selecting a group of beta testers and will announce that to the list.

Any update on this? I just went through the check out process on your site and there isn't any download link for it. It sounds like a great plugin.
