When does amazon pay?

Hi guys, someone went on a shopping spree and bought 5 items from my amazon affilate link... I'm not seeing any update in my earning report though... just ordered items?

I'm only asking, as I've very little amazon activity, so I'm thinking it could be a glitch? Or, does it take a few days for the earnings to appear?

    Commission earned is not posted until the ordered items are shipped. You should see the earnings in the next day or two. (on average)

      Amazon does not pay you commission when you buy through your own link.

    Yes be patient it can take a few days for orders to be shipped.
    With large ticket items from third party suppliers I have waited as much as 10 days before the item shows up in earnings.
    Just track them they usually resolve before the end of the month.

      Cool, thanks. I'm in no rush.. it just seemed odd that I had 1 sale in the past 3 months, then 5 in 1 day. Gift horse, mouth I guess

      They even bought a hoover for $450, even at 4% commision, that's not bad.

    Nice, I also sold an expensive hoover the other day (not promoting it). That's the power of Amazon right there And yes, it can take quite some time for the items to ship out so just be patient. By the way, if I remember correctly you're upgraded to a 6% commission after you've shipped 7 items. So let's hope you sell at least one more item before the end of the month

    That is one of the benefits of Amazon. I probably sell as much stuff that I haven't promoted as stuff that I have. It's a perfect example of customers being in a buying frame of mind.

    He did say HIS affiliate link.

    They're not going to pay you to buy from them.

      Sorry for any confusion, when I say my affiliate link, I mean the affiliate link I'm using to market products.

      I'm not buying anything myself from amazon.... I'm currently in China in a kung fu school... don't really need a hoover
