Wordpress or Joomla For IM?

I was thinking the other day if i should start to use joomla because in all my sites i use wp and i was thinking in starting a new site with joomla and i just wanted to know if joomla is good or if i should just stick to wp.

    Joomla is good. I don't think that is the question. Wordpress is also good. They are both used for different things. I believe Wordpress is much better for Internet Marketing. I have used Joomla for some of my corporate client's websites, and it's just not as easy or as flexible to use when it comes to Internet Marketing.

      If you already know how to use Joomla to crate nice looking and functional sites, then either is probably OK.

      Getting good with Joomla has a learning curve to it, kind of like everything else, but if you were willing to spend the time learning Joomla, you could create some different looking sites. If that is what you want.

      If what you are really interested in is getting your site online and making money for you, use wordpress. The learning curve for a functional website is much shorter than with joomla.

    My personal choice is WP. I tired J. a few years ago and went back to WP. WP is much easier to use and I can't think of anything I personally can't do with it, that would make me want to go to J.
    I'm sure there used to be some reasons why you'd want to use J., but right now, I can't think of any. This is why I like WP over J.
    1 - WP has more plugins
    2 - WP is more flexible
    3 - WP has more developers and regular folk who know how to use it
    4 - WP has tons of free and paid templates available
    5 - WP default SEO structure is better
    6 - WP can easily be updated and maintained after blog/website is launched
    7 - WP has a great community of users
    I think WP kicks azz!
