Teens these days have pretty easy access to funds. Either their own or through parents and joint accounts and/or other sources.

My nephew is not even in his teens yet and he always has money. Obviously not a credit card, but if he wants to purchase something online he usually has no problem going through his mother.

Long as your product doesn't anger parents, I don't see a problem.

Interesting insights, I was gonna say "Better put some adsense on your site" LOL

But many teens may have access to their parents. And like you said, its gotta be MOM friendly, otherwise is a no go!

I say test it out and see how it goes. Would love to see what kind of results you pull in. Report back here if you can!

Almost every teen I know has a debit card now, even if just a prepaid one. Now is really the perfect time to start marketing a product like that too with summer vacation starting.

Teens can get whatever they want if they want it bad enough, keep that in mind. And they can easily acquire the money they need as long as your product is you know, "wholesome" or "parent-friendly"

Maybe you should rethink your product and who you're targeting. Yeah, most teens have "easy access" to funds... but I doubt the market is huge for them. You could spend your time on something more profitable in the same amount of time you spend creating a product for people who are probably "kinda" interested in your pitch.

Perhaps you should do some more market research to determine if there is a market for your product, and discover if the market is able to purchase without problem or lack of funds.

I've not heard anything about teenagers splashing out on ebooks and information products. They usually like to download for free, or a similar price from various forums and download sites.

Do your research and determine the market. Then you will be ready to go.

Good luck in your Teenage Ebook Marketing . . .
