Hello,

Is any software that can copy the text on a image.

I like to copy the text from this pdf file:

  It's called OCR and I know it's in Acrobat pro, lots of software does it though - CutePDF does it as well (it's actually one I describe in my 40+ essential tools for marketers eBook)

Yes, OCR is your only way with pixels - to txt , but it does require a good quality image - might struggle with the one in the pdf

Having used OCR in the past, it is always difficult without really clear copy. Even with advances in recent years, I'd expect you may get a better result (and a lot less frustrating) if you just got someone to transcribe it for you (Fiverr, perhaps?).

With copy that is relatively clear and blocked into a reasonable format (not too many ads, no jumps to later pages), you may get pretty good text using OCR (Optical Character Recognition). However, with so many ads and inserted pictures, you may spend more time cleaning up than it would take to just transcribe it.

Some pdf files are like pictures but some you can copy the text.

Can Google read the text in the pdf?

Yes, Google can read the text inside a .pdf file just fine.

Example, everything in this Google Search is a pdf file: http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&q=filetype%3Apdf

Google can read the pdf with the text, but can Google read this kind of pdf:
