I've got a blog which is loading too slowly.

I've disabled all the unnecessary plugins but it's still not getting any faster.

Any ideas, anyone?

Try optimizing images in the themes. If you use images in your post you need to optimize them too. That will help you pick up some speed if you have large images. First measure the speed with something like: WEBSITE SPEED TEST, MEASURE SERVER SPEED, WEB SITE OPTIMIZATION, SPEED CHECK
then make the changes and see if it helps.

According to that site my blog is slow.

Now I just need to find out how to speed it up.

I just checkout your site, pretty much instant loading for me...

But , what comes to mind:

The front page is fairly large?

The page might be waiting for the ustream link to load?

I have been having this kind of issue also.

I am doing my own research as well to address it.

I did contact also my hosting provider and they told me that they will act on it and keep me posted!

Having hosted multiple websites on the same hosting company I've found that when one of my sites slows down they all do. IE: It's the web host that's the culprit many times or another website on my ip may start getting a ton of traffic and that slows my website down. This becomes an issue when you use shared hosting.

If you have a dedicated ip or a VPS that wouldn't be an issue unless your host is having slow speed issues with their backbone.
