Hey Warriors. This Is kind of a silly question but when testing out my emails the sentence length is horrible. Some are way long and some are way short! Example:

(Hey my name is Sharingan and I have a question about so and so and so on and
Im glad you are here to answer
my questions about the format issues that I'm having thanx alot for your help.)

Does anybody have any tips or recommendations of what character text rulers to use so my emails can look nice and neatly formated with about 65-75 characters per line?

Thanx for the help

    Hey Sharingan,

People have very short attention spans.

Thus, it's always wise to write in chunks.
ie: Small bits and pieces of sentences just
about as wide and deep as you're reading now.

In this way, your readers can just glance
at a line an know what's being said.

If you use a service such as Aweber, they
have a vertical red line that appears in the
section where you create your email
    messages.

Use that line as your cut-off point.

    The lesson is this...

Write EMAILS this way and not only will
they look nice, neat and compact...
but your readers will read more.

You also won't have to deal broken lines
in the middle of your sentences. Which, by
the way, happens depending on your and
the recipient's email settings. *I think*

    Hope this helps : )

    Best!
    - Jay

P.S. I'm only writing this way here to
show you by example. I don't really write
this way here on the forum
    : )

I couldn't help laughing when I saw this (Sorry!) It just took me back....

You say you want 65-70 characters... well, here's the way I learned it
    and it goes like this....

Type your "Hi What's Your Name",

Hit "Enter" and type: 1234567890 (copy'n'paste 6 more times..) so you get this:
    12345678901234567890123456789012345678901234567890 123456789012345
(I have no idea why the space shows towards the end, I can't get rid of it...)
Now you have your 65 character guide to help you keep your mails tidy using 65 characters.

Don't forget to use short sentences and spaces and don't forget to cancel the numbers

They best thing is always the shortest possible email relaying what you want to say. So many are busy with business no one has the time to read all emails, so if yours is short from a good domain, then you may be in luck.

    Use this free online tool.

    Email Formatting Tool

Simply paste your email in there, choose the number of characters you want per line, and you will then be given a nicely formatted email ready to copy and paste back into your email program.
