I'm currently in the proces of launching a new site and wanted to know if terms of use really is necesary?

I already have a disclaimer and privacy policy, will these two be enough?

Please excuse my poor english.
Thanks in advance.

It depends on what you are selling. If you are selling stock photos ToS is relevant, other niches it may not be.

It's basiclly a health/exercise site with Information, not going to sell anything( not from the start atleast). Gonna monetize with ads.

These are broad topics, but they generally require disclaimers, legal terms, and a privacy policy.

Worst case scenario: someone dies because they did something you recommended or bought a product you referred them to.

Without any legal terms your butt is hanging out there ready to get spanked.

Even worse, without real legal protection you may face a legal issue filed far away from your home.

Need I say more about needing terms for accessing, using, and relying upon your website?

Are your clients going to be able to do much on the site? If they can make changes post comments, etc, you'll want the terms of use to lay down some rules just to keep things civil.

If you are simply using the site for informational purposes to draw in traffic to monetize with ads, you should be fine.

It really depends on the niche. Look up similar sites within your niche and see if they have it. It's just common sense!
