Officialreviews.com for $950 at Godaddy - Worth it?

    No probably not. It is not specific enough.
    When people search for "official reviews" it could be for anything, so how are you going to target products towards them?

    If you can think of something good though, go for it.

    Really depends on what you are doing with it. That is such a generic name though but look at some of the generic sites out there. Creditcards.com buy.com so if you have a good business plan for the domain name i would go for it. Obviously invest in it if you can afford to lose the money.

    It depends on what you want to use it for but most likely the "value" of that domain is $10 for everybody else.

    There are companies that make money with domains. One of them is Godaddy...

    I have made money with selling domains too but I would categorize it more under gambling than a real business.

    If you create a valuable website that gets a lot of traffic: different story.

    The days where a domain name just because it sounded cool could fetch a lot of money are long gone (aside from companies like Godaddy, namecheap etc. that try to sell worthless junk to not too informed newcomers).

    There is 1 web site that lists basically all important domain sales:

    While all that looks impressive it looks different if you compare that to the volume of domains that expire worthless every day. Suddenly it is obvious that all these domain sales are comparable to winning the lottery.
